Just like any other music artist. MAX300 is not anything new. It's hardcore electronica. And poopy hardcore at that.
Censorship. |

Alot of the more difficult songs like MAX 300 and the PARANOiA series were made specifically for DDR. The artists just put some beats together that they thought would make very challenging DDR songs. However, for the most part these songs also sound pretty good to techno enthusiasts like myself. _________________

I have no way of proving you wrong, but I'm pretty sure a lot of the music was made with the main intention of sounding good. Especially since I myself enjoy Paranoia Survivor. |

I'm fairly certain most of Captain Jack's work involved some ingestion of illegal substances. |

I hate to say it but not even Beethoven or Mozart could have made stuff off the tops of there heads... the begining idea probably, but you have to play with it before you get a good song. _________________

Who makes the songs is a better question.
Does Naoki M(aeda) exist? Naoki M is an anagram of Konami.
Kidding, but it's like anything...they hear a beat, or get a beat in their heads and then they make it in a Sound Program on the computer until it's good. |

I think they're former dj's that retired and magically found the DDR fairy and helped with DDR....or not. _________________

Not necessarily. Not every composer relies on trial and error. |

The intelligence level of this thread is disheartening.
Just because the music is created for (or featured in) Bemani doesn't mean that it was designed under any special circumstances.
