What is BPM is considered fast? slow? For a person that is good at most Standard and a few Heavy songs, what foot rating should they try to do to get better? |

BPM is really subjective. I personally don't consider any songs under 200bpm to be particularily fast, but others feel differently. I suppose the "average" speed of a DDR song is probably around 130bpm, so anything more than that I suppose could be considered "fast".
If you're passing some heavy songs I would recommend that you keep practicing 6 and 7-footers, or specific lower-level heavy songs that you're having trouble with. |

I feel 150 BPM is the point where things become evenly fast. |

OMG. No. the average DDR song is 160. I created a thread on whether the song G2 should be a 9 and me and some other member got in a really heated discussion over this.
If you can do All standard and some Heavy, Work on all the 7 footers u can. Then go upto really easy 8 footers like Sana Mollette on 2x speed |

I consider anything under 130 bpm to be slow... fast songs range above 260 and beyond |

On the dance pad:
Slow: 0-130
Mid range: 131-169
Fast: 170+
On the controller:
Slow: 0-169
Mid range: 170-189
Fast: 190+
These are without mods. I dance most songs on 2x. And I play on 3x for the controller. Therefore my limit has been proven to be any Max song since I play them at 1x. _________________
