Last saturday me and my friend Skyler were playing DDR Extreme at the mall. After we finished playing our 3 songs, a lady came over to us and asked for an interview. The lady was from "The Birmingham News" and she talked about how she is writing an article on the popularity of DDR.

After the interview she schedueled a photo shoot at my friend's house (since the manage said she couldnt take photos in the arcade disturb.gif ). Well I just came back from the photoshoot about 20 minutes ago and I think it went pretty well. The photographer took about 60 pictures of us playing DDR Extreme for the PS2. He took pictures of our RedOctane pads, song scores, and out feet while dancing. These are the songs we chose to play as well as the scores.

1st Song - Wonderland (Heavy)
Me - A
Skyler - A

2nd Song - Planet Rock (Heavy)
Me - A
Skyler - B

3rd Song - A (Heavy)
Me - A
Skyler - C

4th Song - Higher (Heavy)
Me- A
Skyler - B

Im not the best player at the arcade nor did I have the best song choice for the photoshoot. I just wanted to let you all know that DDR is getting even more publicity and hopefully the community will expand even greater. The newspaper article is suppose to be published on either the 15th or 16th of May. I will be sure to post the article for you all when it comes out.

WOO-HOO!!!!. But im in huntsville so....nowhere near birmingham. anyway, something like that happened to a couple people at our mall, except theyre were getting B and C on standard and the reporter walked off with them before me and my friend could show them what DDR REALLY looks like.

Sigh.... I wish I was interviewed or something like that, but I live in a small town under 1k, so it probably won't happen....

All the good stuff happens to the popular ppl while WE stay in the shadows!!
