As we all know, In The Groove is to be ported to our homes! All we know is that it'll be released sometime in the month of May, but EBGames says May 9.
Currently you can pre-order the games from the publisher, RedOctane, at the following links below:
ITG Bundle
The bundle comes with FREE ground shipping (you must select Super Saver shipping), as well as the OST, an ITG t-shirt, RedOctane temporary tattoo, and RedOctane keychain. The bundle is $149.94.
ITG Game (only)
This is the individual game. It is going at MSRP for $39.99, matching the DDR US release prices. If you pre-order it comes with FREE ground shipping when you select Super Saver shipping, an ITG t-shirt, the RedOctane temporary tattoo, and RedOctane keychain.
ITG Box Art
This is the In The Groove box art.
Yeah, I know some of this has already been stated, but I might as well put it in the dedicated forums. >=P _________________

That'd really screw up PA'ers who're used to playing mineless DDR.

actually, this isn't going to be a direct port. the theme in ITG for PS2 is pretty much a blue colored ITG2 theme, so the intereface is probably going to be darker and the font a bit more slick looking. the game also includes novice difficulty like ITG2, and 4 songs that I'm guessing are going to be from ITG2. |

Aren't all the ITG songs from the arcade be going to make an appearance on the home version? _________________

All the songs are there plus Liquid Moon is playable regularly . No more having to play Energy to get to it. That and there are Expert steps for it too .
I'm definetly excited for this release. _________________

I'm probably going to pick up the game. I think I'm going to buy the game and the ignition from EB seperately and not a bundle as RedOctane doesn't accept PayPal. =/ Plus EB is going to sell the Ignition 3.0 for $10 cheaper then RedOctane's site so I save $10 but don't get the freebies. :[ _________________

I already have two Ignition 2.0's, so I'm set as far as that goes.

Yeah exactly. I get pissed if I get excellents and if I get a great on songs I usually never get greats on I either leave the pad or great attack the rest of the song. _________________

Actually, I think it's better to say the ITG2 as it was at ASI was a re-coloring of the home version. The actual ITG2 theme will not be so similar to ITG1, or so I hear. _________________

I'll be purchasing the game, although not the dance pads since I don't play at home. Just grab it for the music and stuff. _________________

The home version will have the same timing windows as the arcade, correct? (Unlike DDR which widens them to account for hardware issues) _________________

No, not really. The Ignition could probably take a beating. My friend's Ignition (RO - I believe 2.0) has been able to take 11s and 12s when he plays the ITG songs on SM. _________________
