Keep begging... be persistant... be a bitch. Ask for it on an event, like christmas. Try to barter with them, like say, "you get me this and you don't have to get me anything else for christmas." _________________

Just tell them it's like buying a treadmill, but cheaper, more fun, and a lot better for you. Tell them how it will improve your game and you will play even more, making you excersise more. |

Tell them it isn't like other video games, instead of just sitting down, your getting a good workout. Then say the pad you have is a cheap model. Then tell them a metal one is top-of-the-line, and it will allow you to exercize more. This will work better if your overweight, of course. _________________

id say pay for some/all of it, but buy it at the marketplace so you can get it cheap. if they can see that it's cheap, VERY durable (so you will almost never need a new one), would be used constantly, and godly in comparison to your old shitty pads that NO LONGER WORK, it should be fine. and if that really doesnt work, cut open your old pad and cut the wires, then play and show them that the pad doesnt register anything and you really do need a new one |

What a retarded question.
If they don't get it for you, deal with it. That's how life is.
Stop fuking whining and if you want it so bad, go buy it your self.
Case closed. _________________

Get them into DDR. Or show them the benefits of a metal pad. If you present a list to them of the pros/cons of each pad I'm sure they'll be more open to actually getting you a metal pad.
Just be mature about it and if they don't get you one it's not the end of the world. _________________
