Does it really work? It's not working because I got warned last month and supposedly "1 point is taken away every month". What's up with the points? I didn't get points deducted...

Its not at the start of every month. You must be a good poster and earn your deduction every month. If you piss them off, it wont go down.

Warnings work like this:
You flame me
You get 3 points from some moderator
You go away a little depressed
The next day you post whore like crazy
You get another point (total now 4).

You're "good" (not warned) for 1 full month

Your point total is decreased by 1 (total now 3).

2 weeks go by and you flame me again - getting warned for 3 points (total now 6).

2 more weeks go by - nothing happens (total 6 points).

1 full month since your last warning has passed - another point goes away (total becomes 5)

Then another 2 months go by - you get no points (total drops to 3).

<wash rinse repeat>

If your point total ever hit's 9 - you're banned.

have you guys ever discussed moving the amount down? i'd honestly like to see the system moved to like 5-7 points. or at least setting the system down to 5 for beginners. this way, if someone is coming in here just to whore, they get banned sooner. sure, they should get an equal chance, but if theyre joining just to make trouble, they shouldnt be given an equal chance.

They can only post a limited amount of times, which in turn reduces spamming.
