How to use Unlock System

hi, I want to use stepmania's unlock system but for some wierd reason, when i turn on the unlock system and put hide songs on it wont work, ahny suggestions on what i should do?

And while im asking, if i use the unlock system and unlock song by song, will the colors change from green to blue or yellow or purple, or is there a way i can do this without using the unlock system?

I had the same exact problem! It has been a while but I will try and figure it out and post back soon.

You have to create an unlock system. If you open the file (in Notepad) called Unlocks in the Data folder, it shows you how to create them.
