Pad Broken (Ignition/Level Six)

I'm in need of some advice. My Level Six ignition pad stopped working. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm plenty satisfied getting a year out of a $40 pad, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for fixing it.
The lights on the control box still work, so it's getting power and all the buttons are getting signals to the control box, but somewhere between the control box and the PS2, they're getting cut off.
If anyone knows what I can do to fix it, it would be much appreciated.
