Probably should be in Gameplay but...
Maybe you should try Paranoia Survivor or Max300. |

Iâd go with Max 300, or if youâre good at doubles, Genom Screams on doubles. _________________

If you're sticking with Arcade Extreme I'd say go for Paranoia Survivor. Its twisty, but its a step between Max 300 and Sakura. |

That's what I did, and passed a few more 10's a lot better after that.
Paranoia Survivor would be your best bet, I'd say. |

Dude, the next song after sakura is, I hate to say, Max 300... I mean, once u get the endurance and the reflexes, the song is not that bad... But still, Max 300 is still a pain in the neck to beat, no matter what. |

Stepmania and its multitude of 10-footers is your friend. |

Paranoia Survivor. That was the first one I got after Sakura and Bag.
After you get familiar with the tempo changes, all you have to worry about is one crossover run at only 270 bpm. It's really not that bad.
Max 300 right after that, I would say. _________________

It's been said on this thread before, but I'll cast my vote too: my first 10-footer* at home was "Paranoia Survivor", (while my first 10 at the arcade was, strangely, "Max 300"...) - but it's a toss up. PS is slightly easier than "Max300", but it's got VERY awkward rhythms (near the middle especially) and nasty slow-downs (remember what Newton said about inertia??). "Max 300" has more steps and less straight-forward and fairly brutal swarms, but the rhythm is reasonably straight-forward and easy to memorize. It's a toss-up, but try both. Either one is your best bet.
10-footers aside, try AA'ing tricky songs like "Witch Doctor" and "Cartoon Heroes". Don't be in such a rush to pass 10's, if you aren't confident on your 9's.
*Besides "Sakura" and "bag", of course... (and "G2" if you want to add Ultramix 2 in there) |

Paranoia Survivor is the next easiest by far.
Don't play at home because nobody cares what you can pass or PA there. _________________

Chances are nobody will give a poopy at the arcade either. I don't know about you guys, but I play DDR for myself (and it sounds like FlipMonsta does too), so whether people care or not, doesn't make a damn difference. |

Hahah, nice barfing to prove your point.
My take on it is personal stuff is cool, just keep it in check, don't put it in your sig or anything (since it seems like a lot of people concerned with passing x song are the same ones who tell the world about them when it happens).
I just think it's funny that people even mention home songs when the person asking probably doesn't play it on the x-box (else he would have listed the easy home 10s). _________________

Try Max 300, then Maxx Unlimited, then The Legend of Maxx. |

If he's having trouble beginning with 10-footers, how is playing something even harder going to help if he can't do those either? |
