Do you think it is ok to play when you are sick. I am currently sick at home while my classmates are busy at their desk and I just want to play DDR. But since I am sick, would that make me worse? Or would it improve me because I am exercising. But, I think I should just play on light or something cus to get bettter your supposed to rest. What do you think?

Nah. Don't risk it. Play Jak III or something.

As strange as this sounds, DDR cures all of my ailment. Even a wounded leg!

The only thing it doesn't help is cramps from 6 hours straight sessions... I drink too much water E2.gif

Only you can answer that question. What does your body tell you?

What kind of 'sick' is it? If you have a fever or feel nauseous, don't risk it. If you have a head cold or sinus problems, ask yourself if you really have the energy for it. When your immune system is fighting off a cold or infection, it needs all of the energy it can get. If you use that energy for DDR, you may end up prolonging your symptoms.

Hope you feel better!

It depends on the sickness. If I'm bleeding or throwing up, then I won't play, but it's just a cough, a cold, or a fever, then I'll most likely still play.

I seem to PA better when I'm sick.

I don't get to play DDR when I'm sick. But looking back on it, don't risk it. You NEED energy.

Uhh... feel better! Just stay away from me... *backs up slowly*

I remember reading somewhere that exercise temporarily boosts your immune system. if it's just something minor like a cold, go ahead and play.

In the case of a cold or fever, I will play at home. I will not go to the arcade. When I play at home, I will put in WORK, I will play hard songs and push myself to the limit. Doing this, along with other normal take-care-of-self things has helped me overcome those illnesses quicker than just sleeping or doing nothing.

If I have a headache along with the cold or fever, I will take ibuprofen and wait until the headache subsides, then I will go play.

Anything worse, and I probably will not play. I had the stomach flu last month and was so out of it, my only stepping with the feet was to the restroom to relieve myself and vomit.

Thanks. I decided I won't play DDR. Lot's of you suppoer it, lots of you don't. It's about 50-50. I think I won't risk it. Unless it changes to like 75-25 then I will. Thanks.
