I just made the easiest soft pad mod the world over that actually works. It's simple get a roll of grip strip, (latex-ish peg board like material) you can find it at any hardware store with their contact paper for shelving. I got a 12in by 5ft rool for $2.64. cut the roll in half so you have two 2.5 ft strips. open your pad up, take out the foam. Lay the strips so you cover towards the edges of the inside oft he bottom of the pad, replace the foam, MAKE SURE THE FOAM AND THE PAD ARE FLAT!!! Zip it back up and you have a new sturdy pad.
I did this today with my RO ignition pad, the up arrow kept being stuck on. Now it performs better than when I got it new. It's more responsive feels better and barely moves around at all. I played for three and a half hours no problems at all.
