*looks at Kanji
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if someone passed that eventually. Look how far bracketing has gotten people now? Look at the major accomplishments from a few years ago. See a difference?
But Tsugaru Standard... I don't know _________________

I"m pretty sure a "feat" is something that can be done
St Scarhand is just stupid and I doubt anyone will ever do it on pad
Faxx double stealth shuffle AAA probably isn't possible
Most of this thread is just stupidd stuff that will probablt never be done or sarcastic remarks. Just my two cents |

A full combo on VerTex^2 would be the next big thing. Look how close Blake was: http://www.ddrsd.com/Vertex2.jpg _________________

Hey, Hassan * vertex beta and got 91 on Strangeprogram, But he can't pass birdie novice, that sh!t is way harder than Butterfly Beginner.
But a FC on Vertex^2 would be cool, but not amazing.
And the biggest thing ever would be reaching a limit, because people are always pushing it, but how far will go, that, I want to see.(Not 293847293847 bpm crossovers, thats just Konami) _________________

Jokes about beginner charts aside, I do think the pros would actually have an easier time quadding a 6 than a 1. This is because Novice forces C120, which is WAY too slow for these people. With them using scroll speeds approaching 1,000 - I actually saw a guy in person doing songs on 6x - C120 to them would be like C60 or worse to me!! |

The most amazing feat in the DDR world is if for just one day, everyone cuts the crap and plays everything on 1x no mods, no bar, and doesn't FAIL at it.
Like if every machine was magically turned into 5thMIX or older for a day, so there were no stupid handicaps to cheat with. (other than little, but come on.)
It's never going to happen, because players today just suck too hard. Sure you can read 1000BPM... but can you just start a game and play it without modding it? If you NEED the mod, it's called a HANDICAP aka A CRUTCH. That pretty much means even if you quad-star songs, but cant do it without the bar and 6x, then you basically suck, no matter how cool the AAA's and tri-stars look on paper. |

We get it, you're a 1x no bar player. We heard you the first 9572985469826462876487268746434 times. And quite frankly, we don't care. |

In that case, I hope you are never impressed (at least not that way). Well, standards for "impressive" do vary. Whatever may impress certain people is irrelevant compared to being safe and having fun. I have heard of a player juggling three lit torches while performing. I believe such feats should not be encouraged too terribly much considering even people who know what they are doing often die from attempting such performances. Have the toughest songs been AAAed or ****ed without anything that decreases difficulty such as the bar, certain speed modifiers, etc.? If so, I suppose the next feat would be to AAA/**** such songs with tougher modifiers such as stealth. Of course, all of this is absolutely lightyears beyond lightyears more than my best -- I do not know how you guys do it. According to the author's standards, I am below average, yet some people think I am goodO_o Are you guys exceptional or something, or are you just the type of people who love the game so much you practice a lot? _________________

Sweety, if you didn't care, you wouldn't have responded.
You also wouldn't have responded to nearly ALL my posts.
Sounds like someone cares, afterall! <3 |

Uh...Jdongz would easily pass that. Hell, he'd probably get over 80% without much trouble. He's done stuff nearly as hard as that, or possibly harder. (His channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/hiei48) His future style is ridiculous.
...but I'm sure some people would say none of it counts because he's using speed mods and the bar.
EDIT: I'm sure some people would also say that it's stupid because it's ITG, which we all know is just an "arrow-mash fest." I mean really, FA'ing 16th runs at 230 bpm in ITG is nowhere near as difficult as PA'ing an 8th run at 150 bpm in DDR! |
