|
|
ive been told that DDR universe 3 has 68 or so songs in it, with 30 availible from the box.
i play the game on my difficulty im most comfortable with (difficult) and then the bonus songs show up. the first time i was excited, after a mere 3 songs i had a chance to unlock more!
then i immediately failed. i barely even saw the notes as i lost all 4 lives in a blink.
i have had roughly 20 attempts to unlock bonus songs since i purchased the game, and ive been completely destroyed usually within seconds.
the notes are sped up to oblivion and you can only miss 4 freaking notes? seriously?
are they doing this to see me suffer or something?
i looked for a cheat code to unlock the songs, notta.
i looked for a way to cheat the system, notta.
they are purposely not letting me get the most out of the game i just paid for.
does anyone know of a way for me to cheat the system and obtain these songs?
and dont say "learn 2 play" please. i play to work out and have a good time, im not able to play at the level the game expects of me. |

Welcome to Konami's business plan kid.
And sorry, but I know anything about DDR Universe 3, but do you know anyone really good at the game who could unlock those songs for you?
Otherwise I've heard the following from Yahoo Answers:
"You can also unlock songs by playing the Quest Mode. Once you make it to the 2nd and 3rd inner rings, you can unlock songs by accepting challenges and then filling the top meter before the song ends."
I hope that helps. _________________

You're given a chance to unlock. Whether you unlock the song is up to you. If you meet the requirements to unlock then you unlock. If you do not meet the requirements to unlock then the song remains locked. The game console doesn't have any ulterior motives to be subjective so consider it as an objective evaluation of your skills.

In Game Mode, are you able to full combo that song fairly consistently?

Sounds like you need more than 20 attempts.

If that's the requirement to unlock the song then yes. Yes, seriously.

Unless you have a web cam that staff at Konami can view while you're playing DDR Universe 3, I don't think they're interested in seeing you suffer.

You're only cheating yourself.

Only you are not able to "...get the most out of the game..." due to your current skill levels.

Here's the secret to unlocking songs on DDR that I learned from DDRFreak. The secret is to practice, practice, and more practice.

I believe that in DDR Universe, just like it was for DDR Ultramix 4, unlocking of songs is through Quest Mode. If you want to "...work out and have a good time..." then Workout Mode and/or Game Modes should be used instead of Quest Mode. Since you state that you play at the "...(difficult)..." level, I'm going to safely assume that you know how to play. You sound like you need a lot more practice to get better so that you can unlock the songs you want to unlock. You have to be patient with yourself by giving yourself enough time to get better. I remember when I first started playing DDR, I thought Light difficulty was impossible. By being patient with myself, Light difficulty is within the realm of possible. _________________

At least Ultramix 4 let you use a cheat code. I hate all the "Quest Mode" BS - I would much rather just play the game normally.
Anyway, there is a way to "cheat the system" although it might sound like blasphemy... use a normal controller. And if you are STILL having trouble for some reason, just button mash.
I used one in my attempts to unlock bonus dancers in DDR Ultramix 3 (which I kind of gave up on because it takes FOREVER) and I don't consider it to really be cheating since the game doesn't save your score in that mode? Quest Mode is just a WASTE OF TIME. |
