Typical new-gen players don't just bracket everything. I'd say bracketing is used mostly to finish a song you don't care about score on without using energy, or to conserve energy during some parts of very hard songs. Bracketing isn't nearly as accurate as just using a very efficient version of regular flat-foot play. _________________
