Boogie Superstar (AKA, best dancing on the Wii)

Don't let the failure that was the first Boogie discourage you from getting this great game. It has fixed all the awful mistakes the first Boogie made.

The Dancing:

16 unique moves:
4 basic moves that can be used in any style, and there are 12 style specific moves, 4 for each of the three styles (Pop, Urban, Techno). A total of 8 moves can be used for each song.

Almost all of the 16 moves are full motions that won't register well unless you do it as they are supposed to be done.

Not to mention the create a choreography option that allows you to play through a song doing any movements from the style that you want, and it will record and save your choreography to play later against friends.

The Karaoke:

Very solid karaoke. Unlike the failure that was Boogie's karaoke, Boogie Superstar actually requires you to sing on pitch. It's the traditional scrolling tubes with lyrics under. If you love karaoke games you will love this.

If you enjoy the songs in the game, you will love the karaoke. Although since the game was mostly targetted towards a younger female audience, you may not like everything.

The Characters/Story:

You can choose 1/6 characters (4 girls, 2 guys) and start your career advancing through Star Shows which consist of up to 3 rounds. You can choose between Dance Solo, Dance Duet, Karaoke Solo, or Karaoke Duet. Each round you are judged by one of three judges. First round is Naomi, the nice one (like Paula), second is Vicky, the nasty bitch (like Simon), and the third is Tyler, the cool, popular, and helpful one (Randy?).

After each Star Show you earn Boogie Tokens which you use to level up in styles (Pop, Urban, Techno), starting at level one, and ending at level 5. Along the way you unlock song, dance moves (the style specific ones), and costumes for your character. Once you get level 5 in all styles, you can take the Superstar Trial.

In the Superstar Trial, you do the hardest dance song (arguably) then the hardest karaoke song (arguably) and if your combined score is over 8/10, then you are a Boogie Superstar.
