I play a really stamina draining doubles round (PSMO, pink rose-cool down, and Max 300) and almost immediately afterwards, I catch a cold. I've been sneezing and blowing my nose all day since that round.

God damnit.

I think I know why. Chances are, after that set you probably got all hot and sweaty. If you went to a cooler spot (like in front of an AC, or out in cold weather) afterward, you probably procured a cold doing so. Going from being really hot to freezing yourself is bound to get you sick.

I dunno. I could be dead wrong.

Not dead wrong. There is some truth behind that.

yeah when there's dramatic changes in your body's temperature the metabolism gets all screwed up and your immune system doesn't work as well, and then you're prone to catching a cold more easily
...right?

I believe so; I'm not an expert. E1.gif

That's why listen to mom; wait until you cool off until you go outside and wear your jacket when you do go.

In the meantime preener:
Lots of fluids and vegetables
Tylenol cold syrup crap (works wonders)
light exercise (boosts immune system)
Zycam (shortens your cold)
