It was called Arrow Style 2 from the Options menu, I believe.
Okay, okay, so that wasn't technically Solo, but the resulting colors were even MORE obvious than Solo. _________________

That would be NOTE arrow skin. Note has been in all releases as TYPE 2 for default arrow skin on options, until SN where they actually let you choose any of they arrow skins (vivd, note, solo, rainbow, flat) |

@Nightime: If you don't want spoilers, don't read this: (Sorry, I'm still obsessed with X secrecy, XP) Quote: | Sorry, no 19s or 20s. The closest is a few 18s: Trigger, which should be called Fascination Maxx ~sonic coll version~ or something along those lines, and Pluto Relinquish, which I'm pretty sure everyone's seen. However, there are 16s and 17s that are still a force to be rekoned with, such as Saber Wing Remix and Horatio Oni. As for favourites, I like Why Not, Blind Justice, Here It Goes Again, Xmix5, Party Lights, Inspiration, Bloody Tears and Sabre Wing, as well as both On The's.
But we still didn't get the specials, so that's a minus.
And avoid Voltum Stellarum, Taj He Spitz, Time Hollow, Wine Red, and ESPECIALLY Big Girls Don't Cry like the plague. |

Information *very much* appreciated! Thank you violently! |
Don't trust anyone who HIDES part of the default songlist. Brilliant.
Except Taj He Spitz is godawful. _________________

I prefer to play on Note, actually, but I was just saying that more people are probably going to be playing with Solo than with Wave, so the people praising Ex2 and bashing X would realize that there were a good number of things left out in Ex2 as well. (No, I don't not like Ex2, it's my second favorite to Max2.) _________________

So what have you liked on the mix so far, Reenee? I've heard a lot of what you don't... ^.^'
The vid's I've seen so far (still waiting on shipping!) all seem to look like the high-tier stages are really fun, and at least on par with SN/SN2. It's also hella cool to be seeing some A6 and or-if-is on PS2 for once. And Xmix 5, the only one I've seen videoed, is AMAZING!

They say great minds think alike, but I'll hold out hope for you anyways, DJ Inhabit... |
Also, SUNKiSS is a 12 now? Seriously!? Somebody on the staff actually took that (sarcastic?) comparison to exotic ethnic seriously? _________________

I suggested to Konami in an email after Supernova 2 came out to revive nonstop megamixes from the Solo era, along with Max and Max 2 exclusives. At least they heard me out on half. _________________

Just got DDR X. I must say, it's not as bad as everyone makes it sound... stuck trying to get to episode 9 in Rage's SMM story. I don't know why it won't let me play it! >_<
EDIT: Haha, nevermind. Figured it out. _________________

I'm afraid I have to agree, it's NOT that bad. I gave it 1 week and managed to unlock every song but Xmix 5. I did not even try to do the street master mode, I don't have the patience for that, instead I just kept playing songs and after playing every couple of songs a new song unlocks! I do have a few favorites, Sunkiss Drop, Why Not, Hero, Pluto, etc, as well as the Xmixes. I do wish some of the other classics could have made it in, as well as a couple of the songs that seem to have made it into Hottest party 2 such as Silver Dream by Jun. I guess in order for Konami to make more money they decided to split the songs up so we have to buy the other ones as well (HP2 & Universe 3). I guess I'm lucky (well, my son is) to have a wii and hopefully (my son should be) getting an Xbox 360 for christmas. Lol, yeah, I'm guilty of playing in my son's gameroom while he sleeps at night or while he's at school during the day! |

I'm curious.
Was there some valid reason Mars War 3 and Jupiter couldnt be in DDR X?
or is konami just breaking up the planet songs even further? :/ |

Why all the negativity, Reenee? I understand your frustration in reguards of wanting the US console version to be like their counterpart, but for that they need to do a catchup version, and then release the next AC to CS for the PS2 (or PS3).
You have known for years that Japan has more lax legal procedures for obtaining licenses compared the US and Canada. In other words, go blame the Copyright Royalty Board at the Library of Congress, SoundExchange, the Recording Industry Association of America and all the major record labels for having such a red tape filled procedure for getting licensed authorization for any song, even if it is on an independent label and/or an unsigned artist that are not represented by RIAA. Also blame ASCAP, BMI and the other three organizations that represent artists, producers, composers, musicians, and sound engineers. Take your complaints to the source, instead of fully blaming Konami (and their Bemani division) for not getting the songs you want.
Now, the reason for Mars Wars 3 and Jupiter not being on X is unknown, but I suspect those two tracks are licensed tracks instead of being Konami Originals. Can anyone find out whether or not I am correct? If they are licensed tracks, it may take a while or we may never see them on a US CS game. |

When did I ever bitch about the songlist to make it identical to its Japanese counterpart? When have I EVER bitched about that? I NEVER wanted a US DDR game to have a Japanese songlist. _________________
