If I am not mistaken, Drifting Away and Ghosts are in Max 2 unless you meant the Japanese version.

Read what I put in bold very, very carefully... also, take note of what I put in caps.

It's an ambiguous sentence, and while your meaning is the more obvious one, it could be correctly read either way.

Hm, I have been known to misread text/statements/etc., but this seems to be one of those instances in which I misunderstand a statement. I apologize for my mistake as I read the statement as suggesting those songs were not included in the game instead of recognizing that our friend Ninja N8 was stating that those songs were not included in later releases. Yes, I have heard nice songs unavailable to American console releases thus far on youtube (I hope that is okay in terms of not breaking the law and/or violating any ethics of any sort). Well, I suppose my "What was Konami thinking?" statements for now would be: "What were they thinking when they sued the makers of Rock Band and ripped them off with Rock Revolution?" I apologize if this has already been posted. I know nothing about the matter, so any enlightenment would be appreciated (private message will do if posting would waste bandwidth and/or merit warning points). Just in case, I have another one: "What was Konami thinking when they didn't bother to include a feature that allows players to watch the videos like in Pump It Up?"

I didn't realize that what I said could be read as being ambiguous - I figured that you would've known that I meant that the songs were featured in those mixes, but not deleted when those mixes came out.

I had to reread it a few times to see where the ambiguity resided.

But, just for clarity's sake, I meant that they were featured in those mixes, and were not carried over to Extreme.

Yes, I realize that now, and I apologize for my slowness in comprehension. The only statement that comes to mind at the moment is: "What was Konami thinking when they rated the SuperNOVA 2 boss songs as nine-footers on expert when at least one of them is tougher than ten-footer heavy/expert songs?" I apologize if this has already been posted.

A few were carried over to Extreme AC

"So Deep" is a license, while "Freckles" is considered an KO, and is available on SN, SN2, and more likely in future arcade releases.

I'm pretty sure Freckles is also a license. It was in the licenses section of the songwheel on SNUS.

Freckles is definitely a license, and if you hear the MAX Nonstop Megamix, there's more lyrics to Lovin' You.

Yeah, I'd rather have the annoying J-Pop than the vasectomy-inducing rock, but that's just musical taste.

-chose the poopy covers and arcade design for sn1 and sn2...the main reason I prefer extreme over those 2
-didn't put an option to turn off the dancers in sn1 and sn2 I find them to homo for my taste..
-made the abominations that are extreme 1 and 2(us)...extreme looks nothing like the arcade and has poopy covers..and extreme 2..i really don't like that dance master mode...forced to do lame missions to get more songs and also poopy covers..etc
-made ddrx...(im sorry you'll but I have seen the previews and while it is a better game in terms of graphics, I still see it being more like sn and not extreme/max)

and whats this I hear about them suing Amidamaro over pump it up?

...SOLD OUT BeForU to AVEX!?

BeForU is singlehandedly the biggest in-house draw that DDR ever had, given that Konami still LOVES to concentrate >90% of ALL their in-house artists to IIDX/pop'n, while DDR has single-digit amounts of full-time in-house artists.

...pussied out of putting in Eyes on Me ~Almighty Mix?

4F's. disturb.gif

...shove songs exclusively in CS games, when those songs are too good to be CS debuts (see: Super Samurai and Pluto the First lfrom Hottest Party, Midnite Blaze, Trip Machine ~luv mix)

...shove >90% of the Bemani roster to IIDX/pop'n exclusively?

...replace BeForU with actual anime songs?

BeForU was easily the heart and soul of DDR, until someone in Konami thought that it's a threat to the current structure (read: Konami's blatant overfunding of IIDX/pop'n).

Are you talking about Disney Channel Mix? Because the PS1 Disney Mix was great.

Also, Disney Channel Mix revived a few great KOs, which is more than SN, SN2, or X can say for themselves.

-why won't they get USB ports on the AC games like ITG did?
-WHY NO LEGEND ROAD ONI COURSE ON ANY US CS GAME?!I understand that it might be hard to practice without a metal pad,but come on!!That course is legendary!!
-R3 not being on any US CS game other then Konamix, that song is amazing.
-Last,I'm not complaining about the US CS games, but its ridiculous that the JP CS version of DDREXTREME has WAAAY more freakin songs then the US version, having to switch the disc every time you want to play a different MAX song is really annoying.
