Well, if Get up 'N Move is on X, I guess anything's possible.
And yes, FTR, LET THEM MOVE is a great song with crappy steps/vocals.
&& Shouldn't X be released on November 20th? I mean, then it will actually be 10 years since Konami's first DDR release.
(I'm gonna regret saying that...) |

it also says how the game will be using "The Most successful DDR-Tracks of the last decade"
It would be nice to see all the MAX songs. _________________

Then go play old games. We kinda need to get a certain solar series of songs first. _________________

Yes, more arcade nostalgia. And let's get some planet songs, too. And all of the songs in my sig would be nice, Pink Rose is only a personal desire because I hate EX US's lack of Dance Play.
Shouldn't we know more about DDR X right about now? It's out in 15 days, right? _________________

Hm, with the announcement of GET UP 'N MOVE, I'm under the impression Konami may be giving us at least one revival from each mix. If that's true, I wonder what other songs from 4th Mix up we may see.
I'm also praying they'll give us all the planet songs, since we only have Poseidon right now. I mentioned in an earlier post about all the planet songs on page 2:
Saotome2U wrote: | ... My question now is what song will they use to replace STARS*** Re-tuned by HAL (DDR EDITION). My guess is the original STARS*** 2nd NAOKI's style, or maybe switch it up completely and revive THE EARTH LIGHT ... |
If also my prediction from page 2 is true, then we have approx. 26 songs so far in DDRX... Was just an educated guess, mind you. _________________

We already have 35 songs confirmed, I'd say we got plenty . _________________

The PS2 DDRs usually always get released in Sept (which is lucky for me, since that's the same month as my birthday).
I gotta admit, I'm surprised that Get Up N' Move from the 1st DDR on PS. Perhaps we might see other PS songs as revivals? |

Quote: | 3.) HERO (2008 X-edit) - "First appearing in the early DDR arcade machines all over Japan, ""HERO"" has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! ""HERO"" is a shining example of Danish Eurodance music. It's melody, both light and catchy, capture the attention and lead you on a rhythm filled journey of delight." |
....This is the first time I've felt like I almost died due to a DDR game. Oh. My. Freaking. God. It's HERO.
Officially the best US mix EVER!
Oh, and Soul Crash FTW!
But o_O @ the exclusive licenses, I've only known 3 songs so far.... I'm beginning to feel a little worried about them. Honestly, the only two I'm looking forward to so far are U Can't Touch This and the remix of BGDC.

Awesome, Konami isn't just limiting themselves to Party Collection licenses for revivals. Man, I haven't played Hero in FOREVER, can't wait to get X.
I'm hanging hope that just a few more license revivals will come...please Konami? _________________

I like the idea of the revival (2008 X-edit)s... But of course I would have picked some different songs for them. Though the cheesyness is something I can definitely appreciate. I definitely agree that they should add Bye Bye Baby Balloon, Dam Dariram, and If You Were Here. Also, this would be the perfect time for a revival of My Fire XD
I just hope the remixes are good.
I'm also pretty worried about the rest of the licenses. Usually theres at least one license I'm familiar with that I really like, but so far only the revivals are remotely interesting to me. But who knows, they might be really good songs. _________________

Outside of the fantastic DDR revivals, it's safe to say this license list for X sucks. |

I don't think so. It's not as 'mainstream' as SN2 was, but I think there's some nice house and dance music here.
I just listened to a preview for Open. Sounds pretty cool, a nice blend of house and hip-hop . _________________

DDR HOTTEST PARTY 2's updated song list says, "Heeey! Don't forget about meee!!"
http://www.ddronlinecommunity.com/news_posts/55
And a quick note from me about the DDRX license list... I'll admit that I'm not exactly bonkers about it, but I'm willing to give it a fair chance... especially at $29.99!!
OH NO HE DIDUNT!!
What do you guys think are the odds that there will be at least one more update before the release that will reveal another group of licenses? Including at least 2 more 2008 X-Edits? I'm hoping for one more, but I'll deal with it!
I also don't expect them to reveal any more licenses that are relevant to the more mainstream crowd. Why? I have spotted some retailers post this information with their DDRX listings: Awesome soundtrack packed with 70 major hits and brand new songs. Big Girls Don't Cry, Here It Goes Again, U Can't Touch This, and much more! I would say those are the most mainstream relevant licenses of the game.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for more licenses that I actually know right off the bat outside of Dancemania revivals, Big Girls Don't Cry, and U Can't Touch This... oh, and don't forget the tune that uses the sample from Rozalla's Everybody's Free! |

Huzzah for GIRIGILI Burning 24H! & Soul Crash being revived!
I thought Synthasized was from the Sota's new album of the same name (both a name of a song on his album & the title of his album)...
So, we know 41 songs right now (not counting Xmixes)....We've got around 35-40ish more, I'd say. & we STILL don't have any crossovers! |

We didn't get anymore X KOs either, Zonic. They don't want to reveal any songs that will be on the X location test on Monday, or that will be on the final AC version (Remember that we got three AC songs on SN2 that hadn't been seen on the JP machine yet...although you could argue about Hades) .
The HP2 KOs look promising, but I'm holding my judgment until I hear them. I was excited for HP1 KOs too, and while there were some good ones, I was pretty disappointed by a lot of them.
Meanwhile, I'm still extremely curious about these commissions for X. We should have an idea of how they sound when the Location Test videos come. _________________
