I'm a chick, so by default, it shall be done...however, those heels reeeeeally need to be padded so I don't stab a panel, electrocute, and ultimately die. |
If you electrocute yourself by breaking a ddr pad and die, I'd pay for your burial costs. It's just not possible unless you have some super high wattage lights under the arrows. |

Huh, the one person I knew who was going to Projekt Revolution can't go now, so is there anyone else who planning to go to these? They'll be showing the DDR games at them until the 24th. _________________

Has anyone read this?
http://e3.gamespot.com/story.html?sid=6194089&pid=950955
Some interesting quotes that jumped out to me:
"A few new features and some classic songs from the series' history make DDRX a game to watch for dance fans everywhere."
"The song list is robust and features significantly more tracks than most DDR games."
The above makes me think we just might get a number of hit songs from most if not all of the past mixes in addition to the new songs for a mix of 80 or so songs. Though I admit in advance that the first time I'd read the second quote it had impressed upon me that this mix was significantly larger than all previous DDR games (in North America) but sadly I believe it was wishful thinking blinding me. _________________

Uh, yeah, we know about the old songs.
Butterfly and Dub-I-Dub. Basically going for the old stuff we've yet to have. _________________

I hope they FINALLY revive the rest of the EX AC songs (Across The Nightmare, Dance Dance Revolution, etc....& I guess White Lovers).
I'd also like Telephone Operator & a new to CS Bus Stop song (like One Two). & Paranoia -Respect-. |

I'm still skeptical about this, as the "70 songs" description is about as far as we get. Heck, I even see some places advertising 65 songs. _________________

maybe there are just more songs that you don't have to unlock first. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Flash in the Night showed up, along with maybe Nothing Gonna Stop. I just have a feeling... _________________

Except Flash In The Night wasn't in DDR Party Collection.
(Unfortunately for us)
Because if you're following the songlist trend so far, this is DDR Party Collection X, after all. _________________

Incase it is:
Other licenses from DDR:Party Collection wrote: |
Butterfly / SMILE.DK
Captain Jack (Grandale Mix) / Captain Jack
CONGA FEELIN / VIVIAN
DAM DARIRAM / JOGA
DREAM A DREAM / Captain Jack
DUB-I-DUB / ME & MY
Freedom / BeForU* (Might be wrong about this one, how do you classify their songs?)
I believe in miracles / HI-RISE
IF YOU WERE HERE / JENNIFER
MOONLIGHT SHADOW / MISSING HEART
Rhythm & Police KOG G3 / CJ CREW feat. Christian D
SKY HIGH / DJ MIKO
Synchronized Love / JOE RINOIE
Wannabe / Spice Girls
We Will Rock You / House Boyz
Witch Doctor (Giants Toons Ver.) / CARTOONS
|
So I'd assume the arcade version would have more of these repeated, and the CS version some of the new ones that haven't shown up yet in the US. (Which looks like it leaves us Moonlight Shadow, We Will Rock You, Witch Doctor and Sky High... unless they managed to repeat licenses in the home game as well.) _________________

BeForU songs are still considered Konami Originals, I believe. _________________

Which would be none of the songs featured on DDR, right? _________________

Man, I forgot how much I loved IF YOU WERE HERE. That was one of my favorites from the first US PS1 mix. The favorites in my family were B2U Orchestra Groove, La Senorita, If You Were Here, and Dub-I-Dub. Boom Boom Dollar was popular, too. Butterfly was also a favorite in the very first JP mix when we played it.
I also have really wanted Freedom since I first heard it. _________________

It's technically a revival since it was on SN (but it was online-exclusive).
What, no V-Rare AGAIN?! We haven't heard any info about one. |

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I asked one of the mods at DDRCommunity about any updates coming on X and he said that there are certainly more updates on the way. _________________
