The X in this DDR title actually has meaning, though. _________________

Widescreen sounds pretty nice, but I wonder what the USB support will be for.. _________________

According to the site "PS2 link" and "Original sequencer" support. _________________

Oh, and it should also be noted that the site uses ãªã©which is like "etc." so there will be other functions for the USB! Perhaps unlocking for non-e-amuse capable machines? _________________

If the USB slots can do everything that the ITG slots did, it may finally mean no more crying about the death of ITG. Saving scores and importing songs, hope it's true... |

The ability to add custom songs is very, very unlikely, but replacing the e-amuse functionality with universal USB support would be fantastic. _________________

E-amuse is nice to have...but at least it's good to see they're trying something new. I'm very interested in how the cabinet is going to look. _________________

Um, you were the one asking about the X in the subtitle. |
Well, Technacally Szalkow, You would be wrong
I was the only one on Zenius-I-Vanisher who knew the meaning, and posted it. While people STILL arugued over whether or not it was the 10th Mix |

Well, it's going to be a busy week for DDR. More info on the three US games at E3 and now a DDR X location test:
http://www.konami.jp/am/locationtest/ddrx/
Will go from July 17th to the 23rd. I knew it was coming this week !
Also, Konami has opened a special blog for the production staff of DDR.

Nothing interesting there yet, but you might wanna keep your eyes on it for some new stuff soon. _________________

What do you guys think of the announcer? I think he sounds like the kind of guy who would liven up in the actual game play. I like him. Cool cat. _________________

Slightly better than the EX-SN2 one. Glad they finally changed him. It seems after 5 mixes, they'll change the announcer (1st-5th had Thomas Howard while Max, Max2, Extreme, Supernova, & SN2 had that other guy). |

Yeah the announcer doesn't sound so goofy and make me wanna chuckle like Scotty D. did in the SN Series Beginner Introduction and Battle Mode. At first I really wasn't excited for DDRX, I figured it would just be another CS release.
This is looking to be the f'ing shiz though. Those side satellite lights look cool, the machine looks cool, more new songs, revivals!! It looks like Konami really has been paying some attention to the DDR community. Hmm, how would the USB system work? _________________

This X announcer sounds great to me. Though if he's going to be the full-time replacement in this game, I'm gonna miss the MAX-SN2 announcer. I have always thought his enthusiasm was spot-on for the DDR series and never seemed annoying at all like other DDR announcers. _________________
