BeForU was easily the heart and soul of DDR, until someone in Konami thought that it's a threat to the current structure (read: Konami's blatant overfunding of IIDX/pop'n).

what i dont get is why konami doesnt throw in a few obscure licences from the older mixes in all there new CS mixes like they used to. Like how extreme 2 had butterfly, captain jack, and boom boom dollar. Why don't they do that anymore, it boggles my mind. I mean, i guess occasionally they'll do a throwback from Max/Extreme era licencs, but im talking 1st-5th mix here. |

Pretty much all previous Dancemania licenses, especially BB$, If You Were Here, and the DDRMAX songs in general. One of the major reasons I hardly ever play DDR anymore is because Konami has completely stepped away from these types of songs in favor of boring/generic music that never really urges me to play as the Dancemania licenses did. _________________

Burning Heat! (3 Option Mix) in a CS mix. It may seem odd, but I like the song musically, the chart is challenging (for PAing, and that damned crossover is still giving me a LITTLE trouble), and it is more meaningful to me as a DDR song as it was my first, and the one that got me into DDR in the first place.
OK, maybe I like it a little too much (easily 4,000+ plays AC/CS/Stepmania) in the three years I've been playing it, but whatever. _________________

God of Romance (ããã³ã¹ã®ç¥æ§), Furuhata's Theme, Drop Out, So Deep, Rhythm and Police, every classic Smile.dk song, Stay, Drifting Away, So Fabulous So Fierce, Smoke, the Bus Stop songs, Dub-I-Dub, basically all of the pre-MAX classics (5th mix long versions, too). Post-SN DDR just doesn't have that warm feeling of excitement anymore, especially with the majority of the SN1/SN2 songs. _________________
