I was wondering if anyone has bought the new Pump It Up metal pad MMB is offering right now. If anyone has a review of it or maybe even pictures/video that would help a lot too.

So it seems like all metal pads are pretty random in the quality it arrives at your front door with.
My other thought is how loud are these pads when playing? I heard that the Flux is really loud and feels like you are stepping on cement. How do the Blueshark and Nexen compare with the noise quality??? I dont really stomp on the pads but i will be playing with shoes... |

Does anyone know if you can purchase the blueshark metal pad with arrows that have the DDR design on them instead of the itg design? |

It's not an option but they sell replacement arrows on their site with the ddr design, so maybe if you called and asked _________________

Nah those arrows are for the solo pad. I will call them and see. I wonder if arrows off a ddr machine would fit in the Blueshark. |

I got my pad in Christmas of '06. It had problems and they sent me a new pad (as in brand new and sealed). I play all the time, and the new pad hasn't given me a single problem.
The customer service was really bad, you're right, but once they set up a new phone system (in May '07) I was able to call them and get my new pad. Did you try calling them?
The pad truly is excellent, responsive, and does not wear down. The bar is slightly wobbly, yes, but it never falls out of place or breaks.
You are better off building your own pad, but who ever argued that? I've played on a Nexen, the old Ignition softpads, those ridiculous cheap metal pads, and I have to say the Blueshark is just a better made pad when done right. There is no 'scam'. |

I have a question about BlueSharks. My BlueShark's left arrow has been giving me problems a lot, such as pad misses and sticking, so I decided to take off the arrow and I found the sensors to be bent to the side. I tried bending them back in place, but I still got a lot of pad crap. Should I buy new sensors from MyMyBox, or should I should I just throw the thing out and try to get a new one? |

What is it doing? if it's ghosting, the sensors are too sensitive. Happened on my left and down arrows for like the first month.
If they just aren't registering, then buy new ones. If you decide to scrap it, i'll come take it off your hands _________________

From reading the threads on it over on BemaniStyle, they seem good, not arcade like, but they work well. there's hardly any ghosting and oddly registered steps. _________________

Has anyone played on the $299 version of the Nexan? How does it feel compared to a DDR or ITG machine pad? Does it work with PS2 and PC right out of the box, or do you need adapters? In some places on the page it says it works with all, but then it asks you to pick a system you want it to work with, so I'm a little confused. _________________

Has anyone played on both a 2007 edition 2 inch blueshark and a 3 inch blueshark? Which one is better? _________________

Hmm, doesn't surprise me. I'm not willing to spend that much money on a pad though, since I already have 4 (but one is MadCatz, my Ignition barely works anymore, and the other two are the official ITG softpads and I've been too lazy to mod them). _________________
