This has probably been found before, so I apologize if this is well-known, but I have found what appears to be an easter egg in at least ITG for PS2. (Not sure if it also does this on an arcade cabinet).

If you play Pandemonium on any of the higher difficulties, if you lose, when the "round failed" bar comes up, a faint skull will appear. This doesn't happen with any other song in the game that I am aware of. It also doesn't happen if you play Pandemonium on too easy of a level.

Yeah, almost everyone has already noticed this. It's just like the Vertex^2 one.

What is the Vertex^2 easter egg? And sorry for posting something that is apparently well-known. I didn't know about it and didn't see anything written about it (though maybe things were written a long time ago--forum search feature fails me with line errors in the search.php file), and I thought maybe I had found something others would think was neat.

It took me a while to realize it because the skull is so faint and it only happens on that one song, I probably just never really noticed when it happened before.

When the Round Failed screen comes up on V^2, a ² suddenly appears so the new message reads: "Round Failed²". I wonder if there's one for Summer as well. It is a 13-footer after all.

There's not. I failed it too many times before E10.gif

Aww that sucks. No love for the Smiley 13-footer. There should be like a smiley face turning evil or something like that.
