I'm new to the forum's, so please don't bash me.
I'm thinking about buying a metal DDR pad since i'm sick and tired of soft pads and want a true arcade experience.
So i have 3 questions:
1.What's the best metal pad out there right now??
2.how much does it cost??
and 3.where can i find it??? _________________

2. Last I checked over $300. I mean, these are the serious business pads.
3. Google Cobalt Flux and MyMyBox (separately of course because these are two different websites). Their sites are the first results. |
In your opinion, which one is better??? _________________

blueshark=$300 without a bar, or $400 with a bar
blueshark=true arcade sensors (2 per arrow), thick plexiglass arrows, most arcade like, 2 or 3 inches thick
cobalt flux=$300 without a bar, can order the arcade mod for more money, only about 1.5 inches thick, NOT arcade-like.
i have played on both, and i like the blueshark more.
this is because i am more for the arcade-feel of the pad
the flux has no border around it, it seems slightly smaller than the true arcade pads, and the sensors are different.
however, the person's pad i played on loves the CF, and says it does take a while to get used to it, but its good for him. _________________

I have a Blueshark, and I love it. It isn't exactly like the arcade, getting that in a homepad is next to impossible, but it's very nice nonetheless, and it's definitely the most arcade-like of metal pads available. It's extremely sensitive (doing holds with your fingers is no problem), and it feels quite solid. I don't see it breaking any time in the future.
In short, I'd highly recommend a Blueshark. |
