CF sensitivity issues

Ok i know there is probably a thread on this already but because this site has such a poopy search feature on it, i decided to make one of my own. I have had my CF for about 1 year now and its definitly not as sensitive as it was. and yes i have cleaned it and good as possible on every arrow. now my question is that is there not a way to make it as sensitive as it was back in the day or can i do something to fix this issue cause of right now i dont even want to play on the peice of sh*t with it dropping freezes and all
