The person playing took my token when I placed it up there to hold my turn. She must have thought I was giving money to her.....

People who say they HAVE to go back to the middle. Then ya tell them that you don't, but then they complain "THAT'S CUZ YOU'RE GOOD!"....Well, YEAH, cuz I don't go back to the middle....

I was just saying that.....I call it the bar. I personally hate it when people call it the rail.

Not really a stupidity, more of an ignorance. I was playing a song on Rainbow, and for my last song i decided i didnt want it on rainbow so i put back to vivid and my friend goes "Omg you suck you need Vivid to read Stars?" I was like "uhhh, vivid is the default...."

Also Friend: "I think Baby Tears on SN2 is the sky girls opening"
Me: "uhh..no poopy it says Sky Girls right in the name"

Stupidity: people who confuse stomping with just regular stepping. disturb.gif

Side note: I have never heard anyone call the bar the 'rail'.

My friend went back to Astroworld expecting to find the DDR machine and it wasn't there. She asked a worker why it was gone and was told that a Mom complained about her kids playing a song with profanity in its name. LITTLE BITCH is the only qualifier.

I can think of some other songs (they only say it once near the end), but if she doesn't wanna listen to it, don't make everyone else suffer. Maybe you'll get lucky & they'll get Superno.....OH, WAIT, SOMEONE MIGHT B!TCH ABOUT "I'll Make Love To You"!!

They should've introduced her to my little friend "Highs Off You". E13.gif

They also should've made her play both songs instead of taking away the machine.

Another stupidity that I seen was 2.5 years ago in the arcade I used to play in. Cingular (now AT/T) was pissed because they thought our DDR machine was taking away business from them. It wasn't the loudness as much as it was that they were jealous.

Y'know, I thought about that too! I was going to post it, but I wasn't sure about the lyrics; I was just listening to the song and realized, hey, wait a minute... erm.gif

DDR stupidities:

1) Having a fit because you are getting greats on your best song that you AA'd many times before. (Like the game announcer says. Get over it!)

2) Expecting not to sweat after playing ITG 12's back to back. (The game was made to challenge DDR experts with nonstop drum techniques.)

3) Coming to this site just to upset our moderators. (They don't have a problem issuing "Points" as if your visit to these forums are a licensce.)

4) Trying to correct people on this site who are famous for going against the grain. (These people are either banned or have a point count.)

5) Trying to make this game a part of a romantic relationship. (You are better off playing this game at the Arcade without your partner.)

Does going "ugh", walking off the stage for the last 10 arrows, hitting your fro open-handed with the tips of your fingers and trying again considered having a fit?

Well I use to argue with my friend Nick. And he complains that he's better than me. I mean, He plays Football and stuff and a lot more buff than I, but everytime we go to play like at Gw, He stops on all the song. Meaning, I'll keep on going and he'll just stop -.- wtf? Im like 15 pounds heavier and I don't have that MUCH stamina..

If it does, I have fits regularly... only I don't have a fro. Still, though.

... my hair doesn't have the texture for it. It's a little bit puffy, but not puffy enough. If it was, though, I would so totally have a fro. It would rock!

Oh, and here's a good stupidity: When I first started playing, I thought "standard mode" songs were easy enough that anyone could play. It took a few tries at getting through Butterfly on standard at the arcade for me to realize how wrong I was.

Hold on, fuck that, if I ever get a girlfriend or boyfriend our first date will be at an arcade, and it'd better have decent pads, too. E13.gif

Did I mention when I first started playing, I didn't know you got more than one song? I was just so pumped over passing my first song, I leapt off the pads and ran to go tell my sister, so I never knew. When I found out the second time I played, I was like, "...oops." riiight.gif

That's pretty silly. I dunno if it's stupid, but it's pretty silly. I guess some random person got couple of free songs, though, so it's all good.

When beginners play the same song on all of their rounds and refuse to change it. Today, I was in the arcade and two girls went to play our ITG2, but they just kept playing Amore over and over again on novice. I told them how to change songs (and it's not that hard) but they didn't listen.
