Hi, my nickname is Trin and over the last 2 years I have been perfecting a new dance pad. First I just wanted something to play on, later I wanted still better and better dance pad.
So now I'm here with an USB dance pad that doesn't lag, doesn't move all over the floor and that I cannot jump on electronics box by accident. Dance pad, that is very comfortable to my bare feet, lightweight (13 kg) and since recently also posesses great looks.
Picture is worth a
thousand words, so just check them out. There are also some awesome videos made by XSoft (you can find more by searching for "CzechDDR").
I'm looking forward to your feedback.
Trin

I've watched a few of the videos. This pad looks very nice. You can play on it with shoes too? Are you offering these for sale? One last question, what type of material is the playing surface? _________________

Hi, the surface material is a custom carpet. It is pretty high quality, so the colors won't fade. The adhesion of this carpet is enough for playing with shoes, but you'll probably have to vacuum it sometimes (especialy when playing outside). Under the surface carpet there is a hard aluminium board.

Make sure to post these in the Pad Directory Sticky too. These look pretty cool. _________________

EDIT: I saw the currency button to the right. A little over $300.00? I'll pass |

Yeah. $302.22. I'll stick to what I've got, but thanks anyway. _________________

lol, the American dollar is so damn weak right now.
It's a really original concept. You could even play Pump on it. If I didn't already have three (maybe four) metal mats, I would maybe consider, but even then I don't think I ever could have convinced my parents to buy me a 300 dollar carpet.
And as a side note, the chick pictured is really hot.
Another side note: what's the song in the Festival Fantazie 2006 video you linked to? |

Well, the hair is kind of frizzy, but otherwise she's okay. I wasn't entirely serious, but I don't think she's hideous either. And try comparing it to other girls you would see at an Anime Con.

looks really cool, but then that would be like playing on a softpad IMO.
i prefer the metal/plex so you know where your feet are when you are playing.
but it really is cool looking, and good if you prefer the softpad approach _________________

No, and I don't think anyone will ever get to chance to, unless they are complete retards and are willing to pay 300 USD for a carpet with arrows. |

not really, i mean, he is hyping up this pad like it's the best ever, when it probably functions just the same as a flat foam pad. |

Instead of taking one peak at a pad and immediately bashing it, excercise uncertainty and keep disinterest to yourself. By my observations, this pad is easily worth 200 or 300 dollars. I personally wouldn't pay $300 for one, but I'd certainly build one for $100.
BTW: you have no clue what you're talking about and probably never will, so stop posting in BC or check your facts. _________________
