I'm sure if you did a search on google (or your search engine of choice), you could find some stuff.
I don't care, otherwise I'd do it too. |

That is SO TOTALLY me! I think I'm obssessed with DDR, but that's okay. By the way, what does PA stand for, besides Pennsylvania? |
PA means Perfect Attack, trying to get all perfects, etc. _________________

You're a DDR freak when...
You forget what the B, C, D and E grades are
You can pass a song on stealth
You only play ITG since everything in DDR is too easy
You step on imaginary DDR arrows when dancing at a party, barely using the rest of your body |

I guess you're really an ITG freak if you move on to that for harder stuff, but you're still a dance game freak. Plus, your ITG freak status stemmed from being a DDR freak.
And yeah, you'd REALLY be a DDR freak if you forget what other grades exist besides AAA. Or if you forget what the step ratings below "Perfect" are. Or if "Perfect" is nowhere near perfect to you. |

You know you're a DDR freak when
You post in a thread specifically labelled "You know you're a DDR freak when" trying to out-do other posts or at least par them to be labelled a DDR freak.
After you're finished playing DDR for the day, all you can see is a blaze of colors and your balance is shot.
You know the name of every local player and every local player knows your name.
Come to think of it, do you actually have a name?
You actually considered the previous question.
You are known primarily for your DDR prowess.
You get a bit miffed when people say "DDR" and they are speaking about computer RAM rather than the dance game.
You have the game down to an artform.
Nobody dares challenge you to play.
Your shoes hate you.
You invent new ways to play the game.
You see an old person with a walker and imagine yourself at that age playing DDR with the walker on the four arrows.
Left, Up, Down, Right just doesn't seem right.
You can competently play facing away from the screen for the entirety of the song.
You ever had the thought of connecting up two or more DDR arcade machines together for simultaneous play by a single person. The more machines, the better.
You had the idea of playing PacMan with your home pad. After all, four arrows are four directions and that is all the control needed for that game.
You skip school/work to play.
You keep playing even when the power goes out, oblivious to the fact.
You keep playing even when there is a fire and alarm and everyone has evacuated and the police are trying to drag you away, oblivious to the fact.
You keep playing even after having serious leg, foot, or knee surgery, oblivious to the fact.
As you are dying, you squirm and try to hit that last arrow to try to max out your score.
Okay,..that's good. _________________

I would totally do Jenny
After you're finished playing DDR for the day, all you can see is a blaze of colors and your balance is shot.
I would say a flashing light (from the machine lights) instead, and yeah, balance gone and soaked in sweat
You know the name of every local player and every local player knows your name.
and how good you/they are
Come to think of it, do you actually have a name?
Any halfway decent player probably is known by handle only anyway
You actually considered the previous question.
Answered it too!
You are known primarily for your DDR prowess.
Sadly this one is true, and you show off to your non-ddr playing friends just for fun and shock factor
You get a bit miffed when people say "DDR" and they are speaking about computer RAM rather than the dance game.
I have never had this happen, but I guess I would get miffed
You have the game down to an artform.
The only thing about this game that is an artform probably involves freestyle, but let's say you probably have written your own FAQ
Nobody dares challenge you to play.
Maybe not noobers, but halfway decent players usually crave the carnage of better skilled players... why this is escapes me
Your shoes hate you.
I got depressions at the back of my heels from where the rubber is wearing off... and it's oddly in the same exact spot on both shoes
You invent new ways to play the game.
New ways exist?
You see an old person with a walker and imagine yourself at that age playing DDR with the walker on the four arrows.
Naw, but it would make a great freestyle prop!
Left, Up, Down, Right just doesn't seem right.
Actually yes it does, this can be executed interchanging your feet without double-stepping - it's probably one of the easiest combinations to execute in DDR
You can competently play facing away from the screen for the entirety of the song.
I have been playing for almost 6 years and I can tell you that I have never memorized any song THAT well
You ever had the thought of connecting up two or more DDR arcade machines together for simultaneous play by a single person. The more machines, the better.
Drool. Quadruple pad play...
You had the idea of playing PacMan with your home pad. After all, four arrows are four directions and that is all the control needed for that game.
Naw, but I tried fighting games... that was awesome
You skip school/work to play.
Tournaments, yes
You keep playing even when the power goes out, oblivious to the fact.
I think I would notice that AAA I had before the power went out... which happened lmao
You keep playing even when there is a fire and alarm and everyone has evacuated and the police are trying to drag you away, oblivious to the fact.
Rhythm and Police... I just would adapt
You keep playing even after having serious leg, foot, or knee surgery, oblivious to the fact.
All is well if you have a healing vision- your legs will work in no time so you can ska go go a logical dash at the irrisistiblement ddr arcade near you
As you are dying, you squirm and try to hit that last arrow to try to max out your score.
<good>.....*in super slow mo*: nnnnnnnnnoooooooooooo!
Okay,..that's good. |
