I love talking to people who don't understand the game or who are relatively new players, but I really find the question "how do you know which arrow to press" annoying. It just seems so intuitive to me.
Also, I've recently had people start stealing my coin from the coin line. Who the hell does that?! It's like they think I'm paying tribute to them or something. _________________

I yell loudly at anyone who touches the coin line. The only time I consider it OK for someone to interfere with it is if they're using it to determine turns (as in doing such things as putting a coin up, taking their coin down, moving their coin to the back, etc...). Otherwise I bite their limbs off. _________________

I confess. I have done that once or twice when I was a n00b. _________________

lol, yeah. There isn't anywhere decent for me to play in the arcade (unless I wanted to play DDR SN, which I loathe), so I only play at home. For that reason the only things I can cite are my mom nagging me while I'm trying to concentrate and my dog licking the sweat off my legs while I'm playing. And then of course the other dog getting pissed off at my fast movements and trying to jump on me. |

I hate when random tourists or 16-25 year olds pretend to have buttsecks with you while your playing and have their friends take a video of it on the digital cameras...

I also hate people shadowing out of nowhere/making fun of you by fake shadowing. When I was in Universal Studios Orlando last month, some kid just randomly jumped on the other pad while I was doing Brilliant 2U Orchestra Groove and starting hitting random arrows and flailing around like an idiot. He also had a group of friends with him, who of course were just laughing as he did it. I told him to stop, and he said "Make me you stupid emo fag". So then I punched him, and he started crying. And I didn't even punch the kid that hard |

As much as that amuses me, you shouldn't have punched the kid. It was funny enough to see a random immature boy making a fool of himself by randomly hitting arrows like a idiot.
But at least you told him to stop before you knocked him silly. Some kids will never learn. |

I only punched him because he wouldn't shut the hell up about how "emo" I am. |

While this isn't something players do I still cringe when parents try to teach their kids by telling them "You step when the arrows light up"
Do they honestly pay attention to how the game is played? If that were the case why have a screen? Just makes me wanna go up and just hit arrows whenever and say "see they light up whenever you step...no matter what's on the screen!"
I also hate when people fake shadow by flailing or just spinning in circles. I mean...who looks like more of an idiot?
I was watching a friend play once and had people do that to him. All I said to them was "What were you planning to accomplish?" and they just walked away. |

yeah Perry, the people here are complete idiots. Although it probably applies to almost every arcade. I hate parents and little kids in general. They let their kids destroy the machine. And then to top it off, they let them run around on the machine while you're playing. Now what if said kid gets kicked or slapped or something? Most parents get mad at the player. But whatever, i know its F'ed up, but they deserve it. They should watch their kids. I show no compassion for stupidity |

I get the most unnerved by two things:
1. Random preteen kids commenting on my skills (I usually do doubles on standard mode, some heavy modes) claiming they could do better (i manage b's or better in this mode, ive never even seen these kids do anything other than reg mode of play)
2.shadowing, please if you want to play pitch in the damn money to play its only seventy five cents and they are more the welcome to join me on my turns on the ddr machine, I not an unreasonable person am I? _________________

I think it's rather annoying to see people play that try to freestyle but wind up looking like idiots! Doing Heavy/Expert and getting high Cs, and low and high Bs, but dancing like they really want to be watched.
If you freestyle you should aim to please the crowd around you/show off bc that's the whole point. In addition, i wish those peeps would make sure that they can freestyle and get a decent grade in the end, like: A, AA, or AAA. Then, you can look amazing and have the letter grade to prove it.
Maybe some people like to dance just to have fun, but if you haven't AAA'd a song or don't care to improve then those people just waste others' time. I just don't care to see crappy freestylin' w/ a bad grade, especially if they manage to make it through 3 or 4 songs whilst "freestyling." |
