This has happened to me several times. The first time I just stopped, failed the song, and got angry. Second time I pushed the kid off by their head as I was moving to the second mat, then after that, I just run them over now. They don't cry, they just say they're going to tell their mom on you and nothing happens... |
LOL, that's terrible. I had a lady start yelling at me in Spanish when I almost stepped on her kid. She was trying to smack me with her purse. He was on the upper right arrow (Pump). The place where I played Pump was always packed with kids. |
Wow, that's really funny.
And was it a Chuck E Cheese? |
It was a CeCe's Pizza, it was just pretty small. I never even stepped on him, actually. But I got close. My friend actually knew there was a four year old kid on his arrow and stepped on him anyway. Then he made an angry grunt at him and didn't apologize to anyone or anything. But we should know better. After all, these kind of people always have perfect kids. They're the same ones who come to school after a gang fight has broken out and defend the fact that their kid is an angel and has never done anything wrong in their entire life. |

More than just angered me; this ruined my day yesterday.
I went on DDRFreak.com and saw a notification of an event happening in Winchendon, MA at Tokyo Game Action yesterday. SuperNOVA comp for $1k. I live one town away from the Winch, so I started looking for a ride (car's wrecked ). Finding a ride there was not happening. I was ready to walk there even though it would have taken a good hour to and hour and a half to get to 'Tokyo Game Action'.
I read the notification again a couple of hours later, more in-depth this time, to find out that it had already taken place on the 24th of JUNE. Wtf?!? So I wasted 2 hours of my day rushing to find a ride to a nonexistent event!?
So now I'm asking you. Why the hell is all the information on a DDR competition that happened 2 months ago still on the home page?? Are they TRYING to mess with my head?!
I'm probably just retarded for not seeing the date right away, but I'm still pissed. I mean, I DID look at the date before looking for a ride, but it said "June 24th" and yesterday was Aug. 24th so I just didn't notice the June part at first. |

At Chuck E Chese Citrus Heights California, the kids walking on the right side when trying to select my song.
Im a very polite person, I only let my hockey player anger/agression out on the ice. I almost lost my cool there yesterday. _________________

That's why I hate my arcade. There's always stupid kids jumping around off beat on the 2p side (I usually am on the 1p side). And when I tell them to stop, they don't. |

Correct. It isn't DDRFreak's problem you thought the tourney was yesterday. |

Either way for the TGA Bowlmanifest, you had to win a local tournament for your state to be able to enter. _________________

This didn't really bother me but one time playing ITG at the movie theater arcade I go to sometimes (when we had ITG down there) some white kid walks by with his friends while I'm playing and says to me:
Don't you know this game is for black people?
I honestly started laughing and really wished a black person heard that and got in his face about it cause it was just out of nowhere. |

I would do that, but I'm worried that the people who work at the arcade would yell at me. Thankfully, people haven't tried to annoy me that much lately, except for the occasional wigger who says stuff like "haha look at dat emo cigarette playin ddr, haha what a cigarette" when I play in the downstairs movie theater (the mall I usually play DDR at has two non-dedicated SuperNOVA machines, one in an arcade in the food court, and the other in a big movie theater on the lower level of the mall). |

RandomUser wrote: | People randomly jumping on and shadowing. Just got a taste of that. Some guy who could not shadow someone doing Twin Bee decided it would be awesome to shadow me doing Trip Machine while I was doing it backwards. When I turned back around he was gone, only to come back when I was aiming for an extra stage (which I still got anyway). But to add insult and try to stop my OMES, I was about to cheer for the guy who pushed him off the pad.
Also, since I play at a Toys R Us, loud people. A large group of teenage girls came along, saw the Singstar, started getting loud and in the middle of SP-Trip Machine...
"R-E-S-P-E-C-T!"
...
"JUST A LITTLE BIT!"
!!!
*gets OMES*
SHUT UP!!!!
"I'M A SURVIVOR!"
Oh god, not another song... |
Oh goodness, I just imagined that in my head.
DDR: "Five, Four, Three, Two, One, Let's..."
Girls in background: "WHAAAAH!!"
Me: "Wait, this is jungle mix, not fraking survivor. WTF?" |
