Hi, everyone,

We have Dance Dance Revolution Universe.

I can load my own profile; then the game starts loading. I get the blue flowers 'loading' screen.

Then I get the "how to play" demo. (The very basics)

Then the screen goes to an animated dancer in front of a 'psychedelic' background, with 2 sets of arrows on each side, but they are demos, too.

Then it stops, and goes to the "how to play" demo. And so on.

Is there something I should be doing to get to do the steps myself? Every time I press 'start' or 'A' it goes back to the 'how to play' demo.

Can anyone help me?

Watch the whole demo/how to play once and then it should let you play the songs. :>

If you dont want to wait plug a controller into the 2 player side and put it on heavy.

Thanks, DJ dew.
I think it should let me play the songs after the demo, too.

Problem is, it doesn't...
sigh...

^o^

If it doesn't, try what ARC.Charlie said!

Plug the pad into the p2 side, and do heavy.

SillyMama,

Try the following steps (pun intended):

  1. Turn off your Xbox 360.
  2. Unplug your dance mat from the Xbox 360 console.
  3. Replug in your dance mat into the Xbox 360 console.
  4. Turn on your Xbox 360.

I hope this helps.

when the game starts, instead of hitting "how to play" go down one to "Master Edition" then pick game mode, problem solved.

Don't break a hip.

Actually you're probably pressing the "back" button the whole time. Press other buttons. Or quit, because you're old.

I would say this person should be commended for trying, rather than harangued. Most American adults don't even bother to attempt exercise.

Nevertheless, if 56 year-olds are out there playing Major League baseball, 54-year-olds could be out there playing DDR. E15.gif

I agree; DDR should be enjoyed by all ages, like any other game. My grandparents both gave it a shot, but never made it past the training mode. frown.gif

My dad passed Ordinary World Light once, and he's 53. My mom's never passed anything as far as I can remember.
