A random note: What I like to call the "ghetto" method of cleaning a CF (Unscrewing the panels but not taking them entirely off, and jamming a ruler with a paper towel wrapped around it in them, and then doing the same thing with another towel to dry them) actually works very well. I haven't had pad BS in awhile since I used that method. Or maybe that's because of the shoes too.

Other than one half-assed attempt at !, I didn't really try and pass anything new today. Still, a good day.

The story behind this (Driven Normal failure in Monolith; 69.93%) would be hilarious if it happened to someone else. A bit of background: My laptop sometimes has problems holding a charge, even with the AC adapter plugged in. It's not the power supply; I have the same problem with two different ones. So anyway, I'm playing the marathon, doing pretty well...and I lose ITG entirely. A second or two later, up pops the "Battery critically low, save your work!" message (In a laughably low resolution, thanks to ITG running), and not long after that, I hear the "life depleted" sound. Or rather, a small piece of the "life depleted" sound repeated over and over. So I quickly unplug and replug the adapter from my computer, which didn't really do much, though it charged enough to get me through the rest of the session. The computer is back in my living room now, and seems to be charging okay.

Before that particular disaster struck, I got the following scores.

Nice on Charlene, Kagami, and Anubis, Emptyeye; you're about 1-3% off my record on those songs.

Anyway, okay day today. Nothing too special.
Boogie Down - 96.76 (oh yeah, new star. up from like 90, lol)
Liquid Moon - 91.12
No. 1 Nation - 93.94
Infection - 83.73 (was actually doing really good until the end, where I lost focus and accidentally stepped on like seven mines in a row. Shit.)
Disconnected - 91.38

Also, beat Euphoria for the second time, 63.xx, not a record, but whatever.

I seem to be sorting all the 9s into three categories.
1. Ones that I've starred, or very close to starred, which means that I've gotten the hang of it.
2. Ones that are in the 93-94 range, which means that I'm starting to get the hang of it.
3. Ones that suck, 90-92 range, that I just suck/can't get the hang of yet.

My breakdown is currently 11/8/9. Man, I suck at 9s.

This game frick sucks. Flagged KMR hard goddamn twice tonight, the first frick time was the first time I ever got a blue combo on it. Had blue till about 70%, then got 1ex. Second time I got my last frick ex on the last frick step. frick. Ugh, I'm sorry, I'm just in a bad mood.

Gigadelic - 86.79 - Second try on pad with this song. Yeah, it's that awesome one with all the stops

I'm in love with those 69 greats for some odd reason. (All in the straight stream)

Flounder, Dancingbox is tricky so that's an alright score. Especially if you're like me and have an absurd amount of trouble learning the freezes. But how do you 98 Flying High and not 98 No Princess? o_O

Because the idiot fags who work at the place I went to wouldn't give me a freaking cup of water...no drinking fountain and they charge 25 cents for water...all I had was tokens and I told the lady...she just glared at me. Later some guy bought me one

So yeah, dehydration = suck scores.
