I've seen all these pharases used on this site and i have no idea what they mean. Also how do you play oni songs? I know i sound nooby but i do play songs 8 feet and up and these terms have been spoken to me.

Oni is the purple difficulty. Unless you mean oni MODE, you press Down all the way. Oni mode is hidden from the initial difficulty screen to prevent noobies from picking I assume, but all you need to do is it the arrow all the way past oni.
