Hey guys, I just got my blueshark this morning and I want to play on my computer, do I HAVE to have an adapter for it? (like the super dual box pro) or will it work another way? |

Unless the control box has an obvious method of connecting to a computer through USB, you need an adapter. _________________

I received my BlueShark 3" metal pad without bar yesterday. I will post a more detailed review later, but here are my first initial impressions.
1) Mymybox uses FedEx. FedEx doesn't like to leave things in the lobby, so I had to leave work during day to sign for it. I ordered the pad last Wednesday, so it took only about 4 business days to get it to me, which is probably a lot shorter than getting a Cobalt Flux. Then again, I live in the Los Angeles area.
2) I am surprised the control box survived in that priority mail cardboard box when I had the pad upside down when opening up the huge box.
3) This pad is huge and heavy at 85lbs. Not really that easy to move around.
4) Those friggin blue plastic is a pain to get off. The clear plastic was easy to get off the arrows, but I felt I was going through every orafice of the BlueShark metal pad just to get that dang blue plastic off.
5) The arrows are NOT as recessed as I thought they were going to be. The arrow panels seem loose, but it doesn't seem to affect the sensitivity. Boy are these arrows sensitive!
More later on to see if it can absorb heavy playing without bothering my neighbor below.... _________________

I just received a EMS USB for my blueshark today, and for some reason I'm getting lag that causes me to get alot of excellents and greats. Does anyone know how to correct this? Also, I'm running windows vista, and I'm using my TV connected to my computer, even though it didn't work any better when looking through computer. Will something like Joy2Key help? Also, I'm using SM 3.95 with jAAAmes Hax theme. _________________

Wow... same exact situation here, right down to the OS. Fiddling with the global offset has helped a lot, but I'm still wondering if there's another fix for it, because I do a lot of switching back and forth between pad and keyboard, and having to edit the .ini file every time is a pain. |

Make a copy of the ini for your pad and another for the keyboard and just swap files when you want one or the other. _________________

Alright, so I've read all 43 pages of this thread, and I've decided to buy a Blueshark as soon as I scrounge up enough dollaz. I have a few questions though:
1. How durable is it? I weigh 320lbs, can do a lot of 9's and a few 10's. I don't want to order a metal pad and then have it break 'cause I'm huge.
2. The Xbox cord on the BS, does the tip of it come off like a regular Xbox controller? If it does, then is it possible to use the same PC attachment that comes with the RO Ignition to connect it to the PC? _________________

Update: Tried the Blueshark with a friend's Macbook running Stepmania 3.9 and experienced NO lag. I think this is a Vista issue. Lord knows it wouldn't be the first one. |

The cab still looks like anus, but the nexen looks hawt. It probably doesn't work any better than the other ones, but at least now it's sexy. _________________

I can't wait personally for their new PumP 2007 edition pads, which I hear are going to be improved somewhat over the old model. _________________
