How gay, lol. |

So today was the first time I played in my new shoes. A couple observations:
1. As mentioned in my last post, they're about a half pound lighter than my previous shoes (Yes, I weighed both pairs), and it shows. Whether it was just a placebo effect or not, I don't know, but I definitely felt the difference.
2. They're also not nearly as grippy as my previous shoes. This took some getting used to, needless to say.
Still, based on first impressions, I'm quite happy. They were on sale for $50 at Finish Line; otherwise, prices seem to start at about $53(plus shipping) and go up to somewhere in the $60s. I'd say it was well worth it.
Oh yeah, scores.
Up 0.7%
Up from either 73 or 74.xx%
Up from 66.59%
This was pretty cool. Up about 1%
Sloooooowly creeping up. I think the secret here is resisting the urge to double-step the easy parts. I just have to actually put that into practice. Up from 62.XX%
Also got farther into Vertex, but still failed it during the gradual speedup before the 612BPM part. _________________

You can get VerTex. IMO Clockwork is a lot harder, given that you can read/know VerTex's ending. _________________

Went to the arcade...
Second song of the day, will quad.
FULL COMBO! =D
Not bad.
I <3 this song. =D
This song still kills me. I wasn't tired, but my legs wouldn't move at some parts. =P
After me hitting myself for getting a 95 earlier that day. =P
I was aiming for a 97%, and this popped out of nowhere. I had no frick clue I had a 99, even at the end of song. o_O
Really screwed up the Tell jumps at the end of the song, but yay for breaking 90.
HOLY CRAP I DID IT.
EDIT:
YAAAAAY.
Other scores:
Tell (Hard) 98.28%
Da Roots (Hard) 99.28% |

Thank you everyone. =D I think I'll try and SDE No 1 Nation next time I go to play. I find it pretty damn easy.
A2P, that's kind of weird. We must untie them. (ie: go get higher scores, I hate those songs.) =P |

davidyko wrote: | AJ: What's with you and playing Distant these days? I'm awful at anything other than Overhead. | It's because on songs like Summer/Infection/Xuxa/Desiny/etc, 3x is too slow and 4x is too fast. So I simply use 4x Distant. It took me a bit to get used to it, but I did and I love it. Same with 5x Distant/6x Distant too. |

That may be something I need to try as well. 2.5x on Summer is a bit too slow, but 3x is a tad too fast. That may help it. _________________

DC, all those expert scores are awesome. Particularly Disconnected Hyper and HotN.
Driving Force is garbage. You're so lucky you tri starred it. Now you may never have to play it again.
Nice Tough Enough, Emptyeye. And for no-barring, that's a reeally good D Hyper. |

I need to kill myself.
I've passed 3 11's so far..
Utopia (80.xx), Xuxa(78.xx), and Robotix(76.xx)
Not bad for the length i've been playing.
Anyways, we head out to the Upgrade-o-Cab with a broken Usb (sorry no pics =() and i was like, "hell let's try and pass a new 11 today.
BAM, A SINGLE FRICKEN STEP FROM PASSING DESTINY
BAM, HALF A RUN FROM PASSING HARDCORE SYMPHONY
BAM, THE LAST RUN BEFORE FAILING INFECTION
SOOO ANGRY
I need to pass one of those tonight lol.
Oh, and don't suggest Charlene, i find it to be EXTREMELY difficult for whatever reason (yet i find HS fairly easy =\) _________________

c) Destiny (2 ex)
d) Mythology (2 ex)
3) Infection (3 ex)
