i've got a friend that's willing to sell me his dedicab for $4500 (wtf?)
and so i'm trying to convince my dad to invest the money by showing him it'll pay for itself pretty quickly.
anyway, in a pretty high traffic place (bowling alley, more than likely) how quickly do you all think it would pay for itself? _________________

He's asking a question, retard. He isn't advertising his friend's dedicab. God you are stupid.

I would suggest an arcade before a bowling alley, and if the arcade gets alot of customers, I would say a month or two. Just make sure the arcade you may/may not take it to takes quarters, not tokens. |

only arcades we have are tilt and namco(in the movies), so i'll just check out tilt.
good to know, but yea the only reason he's selling it so cheap is because he has an extreme and just bought a supernova, and mainly i think he doesnt wanna ship it _________________

your friend is either incredibly rich or incredibly stupid
or both
as a lowball estimate, you can expect maybe a fifty bucks a week. putting it in the right location can make that go up to two hundred or so, but that's going to be pretty incredibly unlikely, as most places that would actually get that much traffic would own their own machines anyway, and not want to have yours. _________________

A player is considered good in my opinion when a player of a higher level comments about you or see's you triple A a song. Or if somebody looks up to you. Hope it clarifies. |

Yeah, $50-$100 a week sounds about right. Maybe more since it's still summer time. But you have to think ahead before buying it. Like, how do you know the arcade or bowling alley will even allow you to have your dedicab there? Ask for permission first, then buy. Let's not forget they're taking a portion of the profit. You should probably clear all that up with your dad before he helps you buy it. |

so my dad's probably gonna help me out, but he got me thinking before i invest in an endless pit of cash
what are the major investments/things that could go wrong with a machine?
i've basically come up with,
replacing sensors
replacing panels(not sure where you can get itg panels anymore)
coin mech
extra hard drive(s)
anything else i should know about? _________________

Even though KONAMI owns ITG, Roxor still has tech/customer support I think? |
