I've been looking around this topic for answers, but there are a lot of mixed responses. It probably will be easier if I just post this.

What exactly are some of the main things a person should do to maximizer his of her's flux performance? I think I'm having the "too sensitive" problem.

The general consensus seems to be that if your mat is too sensitive, the screws need to be adjusted.

Can this pad play Pump It Up? If so, how?

Also, do you have to assemble this yourself?

If you use the proper control box, yes. Assembly is basically disassembling the center panel - take out the cardboard.

But the panels on a CF aren't the same size as the panels on a PIU pad. Play with caution, grasshopper.

Reposting here,

Iv had my cobalt flux for about 2 years now and It hasnt gave me any problems until now. About 2 months ago the pad started giving me random misses. I thought that maby it needed a cleaning, so I did. No dice, the pad was still just as messed up. So I cleaned it again, same thing. I thought it might be a control box issue so I ordered a new one. Once It got here the problem got a little better, but I was still getting occasional misses. Im realy not sure what to do now, songs that I could normally AA FC im missing arrows all over the place in. Its made it impossible to do oni courses or improve scores. If anyone has any tips on making this thing work than please post. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a wiring issue. Does it happen with all the arrows, or just certain ones?

I replied the first time you asked.

"Did you check the wires to make sure they weren't a little loose? Also, if the problem got slightly better when you got the new control box but still persisted, my first suspicion would be that the plug coming out of your Flux is damaged."

Is anyone else having the same problem as me? Those mats shipped, and I was kind of pissed to hear that someone's doubles order made on July 12 shipped before the order I made on June 27. Not only has CF not responded to my email asking for a status update, but when I tried to log on to their website, I can't login to check my status anymore. This has persisted since yesterday.

just call cobalt flux. It's the best way to get a straight answer out of them.

Agent: I'm glad to hear it's not just my computer. I ordered just two days after you (the 29th), so I'm estimating we'll be getting ours around the same time... but you never know with CF I guess. E10.gif

But yes, I can't get into the website, either. I log in, and it just shows the login screen again. I have gotten email responses, though.

Yeah, that's the problem I'm having with login. And I got responses before. They just haven't emailed me back this time. It's been almost a week, it usually only takes a few days.

Yo there, Ive been reading this pretty much everyday (this thread) Cause i have ordered a double pack CF pads myself on June 10th. My circumstances are alittle different though, i live in Sydney Australia so it will be an international order. Though i don't see how geographical location should affect the build time for the pad.

I tried logging in myself to check my order status and i can't seem to log in. i'm gonna give them a call later and find out whats going on. Waited for 2 months now! and nothing!

The login is working now. Still says "Being Built", though. I was really hoping to get this pad before college while I'd still have some time to enjoy it. My birthday present is way late.

I've rung up Ivory from CF. Shes told me that the last CF that was shipped, was ordered on the 9th of June. It means i should be getting mine ...like now?

Ivory asked me to send her an email with my order details so she can chase up my order and that she promised that she'll get back to me the same day (yesterday) and...didnt receive a reply from her. Though the log in works now...

I find that odd, as one of the users on here said his order was placed on July 12 and was being shipped now. At any rate, if the last orders were up to June 9th, I'll probably be waiting till September or October for my mat.

So I might be buying a Cobalt Flux soon. Most of my house is thin carpet. My question is, what is all this talk about how horrible it is to put a Flux on carpet? Like, what problems might I have if I don't build a base for the pad? I don't want an answer like "WELL ITZ JUZT NOT RITE TO PUT A FLUX ON CARPET", I want specific reasons why I shouldn't put it on carpet.

I ordered a CF pad on june 7th after calling and asking if they are compatible on the PC. the woman on the phone said that a new control box was being built and if i ordered now it would ship with the pad. so i ordered it and got the pad 7 weeks later (!), and yes the control box does have USB but it did not ship with a driver! i called CF asking for the driver, they said to email [email protected] and the driver would be emailed to me. i did and did not get a reply. i called back, and they said their server was down last weekend and if i gave her my email address she would send the driver to me. i did not get an email that day. i called back today and asked what happened, she said the email bounced, so i gave her another address and i still don't have an email from CF.

does anyone know where i can get this driver?

I'm pretty sure that the USB plug is for the XBOX 360, so try downloading the XBOX 360 controller driver.

WELL ITZ JUZT RONG TO PUT A FRUX ON CARPET.

The base can either warp or crack on carpet, people say. They suggest building a base, which I will be doing.
