For the experienced players, that is. I'm sure with the licences in SN2, it will still have some appeal on the mass market. If Konami had any sense, they'd try to make the final SN2 more like ITG. Mods like x2.5 would be nice, and so would more challenge stepcharts. _________________

Ah, there are some good ones, but here are some of my favorites.
Xepher Expert(Heavy, whatever... -_-)- The steps aren't OVERBEARINGLY hard, but still manage to flow with the song, and the pretty good difficulty matches the intensity of the song. (I also happen to be a fan of high Voltage when the streams aren't too complex, IE crossover-laden, etc. (Note: Can't crossover for crap. I pretty much never use that technique...))
DoLL Exp.- I think these steps are better than the Challenge ones, myself. They seem to be more about matching the pseudo-relaxed J-pop-ish music than following a bunch of other things just to be made harder. (Don't get me wrong, I LIKE Chalenge. I just like Heavy MORE.)
Peace(^^)V Exp.- The arrows are pretty much dead on most of the time, and it's a nice relaxed chart for a pretty relaxed song. (Well, relaxed compared to say... BreAk Down!...) (Though a set of 7 or 8 foot Challenge steps could've been nice. Oh well, that's why they have Edit Mode.)
A Exp.- The steps are calm and simple at the beginning, nothing too crazy, just like the music's all slow and misleading (If you don't know A, that is.) When the music stops, you can just FEEL that you're in for some action, though, and the 191 Bpm doesn't disappoint. It's got some lil 8th note spurts at first, getting you ready (And still being nicely in tune.) for the finale, when (For a moderate Expert player) all heck breaks loose with a couple large, quick streams to conclude.
AA Exp.- Ah, AA. DJ Amuro(Taka!)'s "sequel" to A. The streaming is quite nice, and the offbeat parts are matched nigh perfectly, if NOT perfectly. This song's tough, but fair and it sticks to what it gives you. I can't really imagine a better way to pull this song off.
I could probably think of more, but those are the ones fresh in my mind. Oh, and yes, I'm aware all but 1 of them debuted on SuperNOVA. I juust happen to like the songlist and stepping done in that game. |

TLoM doesn't really fit the beat, but if you listen to the stomp of your feet and the song together it sounds cool, not going along with, but complimenting it. |

I'd have to say Seduction (non vocal) is a pretty good chart.
One SuperNova chart that blew me away is AA Heavy (I refuse to call it by the new names) Double. The pad crossovers are really fun to play and I actually love to play that chart. It's like somebody actually took time to make that one.
But yeah...I overall hate most of the new stepcharts, especially on the 10 footers like Max 300 SMMM (Oni) cause...that many jumps together should never exist in a song like that. |

The only reason I like SuperNova is because SMMO is finally in the arcades. |

Sexy Planet oni is grand. Jumping with moans is sweet. |
I get quite embarrased when that part shows up. People are like, "Get him, he's having sex with the machine!" when that part of Sexy Planet Oni rolls around. |

Kick the Can, Wonderland, and Highs off you are the best charts on EXPS2 IMO.
on SNPS2, Put Your Faith in Me (saturday night mix) expert double is a good chart (would've made perfect Challenge steps on single) _________________
