People really need to stop over-using this word. And FAXX does indeed suck.

Song.

However, I'll force myself to like songs if I really like their stepcharts, like Max 300 or PS.

I'm more likely to pick a bad song with good steps than a good song with bad steps.

Same here. I think that Dynamite Rave (all mixes of it) is crap musically, but they all have pretty good steps, so I usually pick them.

FaxX is pretty good musically, but I prefer FELM.

I think FAXX is a pretty good song myself. But whether it's a good song or not doesn't matter. My original point was that most people think FAXX is a better song than Max 300 musically, but most people love playing Max 300 and hate playing FAXX.

Win. That's what expert players do.

Ha ha...so tempted to sig that. Then again, this site is full of lulzy stuff that would fill my sig in a heartbeat.

I think I'll go to the arcade right now and play some of my custom edits. laugh.gif

I know right? It's a good thing we can just go to the arcade and play our edits on SuperNOVA.

Yeah, but there is ITG2 though.

To me, both are important, but the song wins out with me. See, the chart, if you feel like it, can be made up by YOU with Edit Steps. But if the music's bad, then how can you enjoy playing it even if it has a LEGENDARY type good chart on it? I need both to be good to be fully happy, but I can always make an Edit if Konami doesn't give me steps I like. Can't change the music.

What's more important to me?

Correct syncing.

I also agree that correct syncing is important. (glares at the mess that is "Love This Feelin'" on MAXPS2)

Personally, I care more about the song, for I could just make Edit steps for myself.

Specifically, I'd rather have AC DDR Originals and Dancemania over some weeaboo baits *coughAngeluscoughTrustcoughBaby'sTearsfromSkyGirlscough* (fyi: DDR has officially been weeaboofied, as of SN2 AC JP, and to add insult to injury, DDR has officially lost BeForU for good) and butchered IIDX/GFdm/pop'n crossovers (butchered crossovers have been the norm since 3rdMIX, and is still going on), which earned the wrath of the flagship IIDX fanboys and the popular jock pop'n music fanboys, respectively. disturb.gif

Hell, I went "WTF? Naoki, jun, what took the two of you four years to pull off Flowers and make it into an AC DDR Original?" in astonishment, knowing fully well that the IIDXers and pop'pers bitched, whined, moaned, and groaned,

"OMG! DDR STOLE AWAY TЁЯRA!"

BeForU was easily the heart and soul of DDR, until someone in Konami thought that it's a threat to the current structure (read: Konami's blatant overfunding of IIDX/pop'n).
