So I need some advice here, what would you all recommend me doing? I hooked up my pad and I was scoring 70-80% on 8's and 65-75% on 9's. What all would you recommend that I do in order to get up to speed with ITG. |
Work on your FA on easier songs. Try not to jump right into the next difficulty level so quickly. Take your time till you're able to get 90%+ on a number of songs in one difficulty level, then move on to the next. You'll progress faster than you expect. |

I'll probably give that a shot. I also heard something about how using your entire foot to hit notes as opposed to doing the songs on your toes is better. I personally find that I can be much quicker on my toes and I don't fatigue that easy.
Are there any huge reasons why I should full foot it or would you all recommend me sticking with toes if fatigue isn't an issue (or will it become an issue) |

I would stick with flatfooting (that's what the "whole foot" thing is called). Trust me, you may not get tired now, but as you progress and songs get harder, you'll need to conserve energy. Flatfooting+bar raping does the trick. Plus your FA will adapt and you'll get better scores. |

Nothing personal, but I'm tired of seeing this argument that "Konami is such an bumhole, they only want money, they don't care about the fans, they killed ITG, wah wah." You know what? Konami is a CORPORATION. They exist to make profit. That is the function of a corporation. This is true of any sane company: Microsoft, Apple, Nintendo, whatever. Konami clearly decided that In the Groove was not a profitable game for them to develop and so they have just continued with DDR. Their acquisition of ITG was probably the cleanest and simplest solution to the problem of the increasingly popular patent-infringing competition.
As a company, Konami probably made the smartest business decision by shutting down ITG. Boycotting Konami or whining about them is not going to change anything, and if you were working at Konami you probably would have done the same thing.
Just sayin' |

I seriously want to know what made you think that this was at ALL true.
I would rather fo play ITG than DDR, as would MANY MANY people. ITG was a total hit compared to DDR. Seriously man, dont be a Konami Fanboy, Konami got beat. They got pissed, sued RoXoR and then killed the game that beat them. thats the ONLY reason why ITG is dead. _________________

Yes, in their benefit. They clearly didn't shut down ITG for the fans, they did that for themselves, so they have NO competition, and more profit. They are greedy bastards, and the person that made the decision to take over ITG should be shot. |
