Creating noteskins, need help.

So I was bored and decided to work on a purposely bad mspaint noteskin.

However, I came across a problem where whatever I make, it keeps the white outside of it.

Example:



I wanna know how to get only the picture I want instead of getting the whole square, white included, intead.

Can anyone help?

Paint cannot handle transparency, so none of the backgrounds will appear see-through. To solver this, use a better GFX program (GIMP, Photoshop, there's loads out there) to remove the white background. After you've done all that, save as a .PNG because it's the only file that can handle transparency too.

Alternatively, you could make the theme on Paint.NET, a slightly more advanced Paint that can use transparent backgrounds, to my knowledge at least.

Damn, I was afraid that paint wouldn't be able to handle it. It would be sort of hypocritical to make a mspaint noteskin without using mspaint, so I will try paint.net
