"Test model of the new BlueMax Metal Dance Pad. The BlueMax Dance Pads are equiped with arcade sensors and 12mm thick arrows. The model in this film is the one with handle bar and build in lights under each arrow. Captured on a test day at the warehouse of FutureMax. On this day prototypes of new models were presented to a select group of harcode DDR Players. With their help and input these models will be even more improved."
It looks amazing. The bar looks sturdier than any other pad, has arcade sensors, and it has light up arrows =]
EDIT: Also found this |

It's. . . a blueshark.
With lights.
But they use LED's.
Epic fail.
In the video, the right arrow was ghosting; shows that these really are at a developmental level still.
Basically, we'll just have another BlueShark that's not from MMB. Could be a good thing, but they need to work out some bugs. It would be nice if they'd actually use a real bar, but that doesn't seem too likely. _________________

I might wind up making a Cobalt Flux-like pad and calling it the "Stretchy Blue Rock" and see if anyone catches the reference. xD _________________

They have ripoffs of all the mat designs. I've seen them before, but I don't think it's commercial, just a homebrew thing to show off. I guess they're working towards commercial now, though. |

In my honest opinion, it looks like a flimsily-designed Blueshark with lights. Look at how much it bends. And it was only CSFIL:SM... imagine a jump-heavy song like Max. or Drop Out on that thing. Judging by the way it bends now it would probably snap. >_>
Edit: Although the PS2-to-X360/GC/XBOX connector looks very sexy.
