Hey, I have a question about Nike Frees. I'm looking to get some new shoes that are not skate shoes. Thing is, most of the shoes I wear usually run a little small, and I was wondering if Nike Frees are true to size, larger than marked, or smaller than marked. I generally wear 11.5 or 12 in skate shoes. You guys have been saying good things about Frees, so they seem like a good choice to me. |

Will do. Do they even make size 12.5? I've never seen that size of shoe being sold, anywhere. |

Yeah, they also make 13.5. You can mainly only find large half sizes online, though. |

Because I was bored the other day, I wore these to the arcade:
Airwalk "Matrix" Slip-ons.
They actually worked well for DDR. Pretty decent grip, comfortable, and light. I recommend them, though they run large, like Vans slip-ons. |

No offense, but you have really small feet. I'm only 13 years old, but my shoe size is 11.5/12 men's.
Anyway, these are my new shoes that I use for DDR:
Fallen Rippers. Really comfy, very good grip, and aren't incredibly bulky. They squeak a little bit, but they are still really good. |

Oh noes, I got new shoes again!
I got these Vans the other day, originally just to wear around the house:
I wore them to the arcade, and I actually did pretty good in them. I passed my first arcade 10 footer (Xepher oni), and got some good A's and AA's. They have really good grip, are comfy, and look good with most of the clothes I wear. |

This looked like the best place to ask.
Any kind of socks recommended?
I slip on my Red Octane pad with socks.
Don't wanna go barefoot and get my pad even dirtier.
How about socks at an arcade?
I'm getting a pair of these for all around usage, soon. Wonder if they'll assist with my ddr performance, too.

Hmm, maybe I'll get a couple more pair of those just for inside wear. :/
Yes, I am sort of clean freak. |

No wearing socks alone or barefoot at children's arcades like CEC and Mr Gattis. Theres always a pee stain somewhere.
I haven't noticed a difference with any socks to be honest. |

Um... Won't that make the pad slip and slide everywhere. Everytime you leap, or step, it pushes it usually back or to the side, and that will give it greater traction to move it. |

I usually play barefoot on my Red Octane 3.0. At arcades, I just wear my black Vans that I wear everywhere...I don't have special DDR shoes. _________________
