Just got my cobalt flux today, and to my surprise, it had a USB connector on it. However when i went to plug it in, my Windows 2000 machine had really no idea what to do with it. It didnt even know what kind of a device it was. Came up as "USB Device" My windows xp laptop had the same problem. I expected it to be driverless, like my old Red Octane Ignition. Any ideas what driver i am supposed to use?

Also, how am i supposed to use the XBOX hookup? The cable has a USB A hookup, while the control box has USB B. Picture of what was shipped can be seen here.

Any ideas?

Thank god you asked that question, I was wondering the same thing. I can't get it to work with Stepmania.

I e-mailed Cobalt Flux and got this driver from them. It works on Windows XP, from a cursory test I did yesterday.

So it works like an XBOX controller? Would we be able to use the XBCD driver then instead?

The other question still remains, how would i hook this up to an xbox? since the connectors dont match

Is that necessary? June 22nd was last post, and the question was answered.

Yes, it was. I wanted to see the picture for a self-reference, as I am ordering a Flux and want to see this cord for myself.
