I ordered mine with the Clear and Smooth arcade mod. The arrows are covered in white, but I don't think it's just the tape, or am I wrong? Is the white layer part of the arcade mod or an extra layer of tape? |

Just a plastic covering, peel it off, unless for some reason you want it on.
I can't wait for mine, it was scheduled to come today, but damn UPS is so slow. |

Actually, UPS isn't slow, they're just really unpredictable. Mine came three or four days before it said it would. _________________

Yeah, I know what you mean. It came tonight at 7:12, crazy stuff.
I have to say I've fallen in love with my Flux. Crazy responsiveness and the thing is built like a tank. Get one.
Oh and one additional comment, make sure you clear the space before you unpack the Flux. The styrafoam is like a snowstorm, you'll definitely have to vacuum. |

Yeah, it talk be about an hour to set everything up, clean, and unpack it. The foam is ridiculous. |

Bad news, I'm starting to experience a lot of ghost arrows which give me errors. It's even evident in menus, it skips a title and goes back. I already tried loosening and tightening screws, and it didn't help. I think all I need to do is break the pad in, but I'm a paranoid person. answers would be very helpful. |

Does this only happen when you're standing on the pad? If it does, you are possibly hitting the panels with your feet without realizing it. Also, make sure you have corner buttons turned off. And is the Flux arcade modded? _________________

Nope, I just stand off the pad and hit an arrow and it moves twice at times. The problem has already seemed to subside a little bit but I still get them. It prevented me from AAing "Doll" before. The pad isn't arcade modded, just flat. I'm playing PS2 versions of the game, and corner buttons just activate menus. |

It's in the options somewhere. I forget where.
But keep in mind that if you are playing EXUS, you can't turn them off. _________________

On all games but Extreme US and Festival:
Options -> Controller Options (I think) -> Dance Play Settings
Set it to "off" for both controllers. _________________

That's how long it usually takes, but it's pretty random, to tell the truth. I've heard of people getting them in a few days, and I've heard of people getting the in a few months. IT depends on how quickly they can get it made (usually pretty fast if they have all the parts in stock) and how fast UPS decides on being. _________________

Ok, so my pad came yesterday. I busted it out, got rid of all the stupid sticker cover things on all the panels. Their is still some stupid foam packing stuff under the square and triangle buttons, but I just left it. My first impression was very good, I like the way it feels and the way it looks. However, the more and more I play, the more I feel like their are misses that I just shouldnt be getting. At first I thought I just needed to get used to it, then I thought it was cause I didnt turn the corner buttons off. Now after several hours Im starting to wonder, is their something I was supposed to do and didnt? I tried loosening and tightening all the screws (how tight are they supposed to be anyway ) and I do about the same. Like, its not horrible, but especially on 10 footers I dont do anywhere as good as I do at the arcade or even on my old foam pad. Any suggestions? _________________

Hm..i ordered my CF last week.....12th of June. well its abit more than a week now. When i logged into to cobaltflux.com and viewed my order history, i noticed that the payment section's changed from "will charge when shipped" to " Pending payment" . The overall also says "pending". What does this actually mean?? does it mean that they've already built my flux and is pending on payment? |

My brother and I just got our Cobalt Flux like 2 weeks ago. In the arcade he plays 11 foot songs in x3 speed on ITG2 and gets grades like B+ but on the cobalt flux with ITG on PS2 he gets like a C on the same songs. He also says its easier to play 11 or 10 foot songs on a foam pad compared to the Cobalt flux. Are we suppose to break in the pad or keep playing til the sensitivity of the pad gets better? |

If you can move the panel a bit by pressing on it and moving your hand back and forth, the screws are too loose. So basically, the screws should be just tight enough to keep the panels from budging. _________________
