I called up MMB up yesterday morning. They said they took a Blueshark to Fedex to get an exact quote for shipping. But they havent got back to me yet. Even tho they did say that they will get back to me yesterday. i rung up cobalt and they said my order will be ready by 12th of july.
Its getting close.....Wish someone here sells metal DDR pads....save all the trouble |

Consider, if you're buying from Betson:
Panels: $200 (4 panels)
Sensors: $400 (16 sensors)
Harness Tube: $150 (1 tube)
Pad Frame: $200 (ChannelBeat)
I/O Board: craploads.
Bar Cushion: $50
Corner Brackets: $32 (it says $16 ea. on Betson. I'm going to simply assume no sane arcade manager would pay $16 for a little metal triangle.)
Panel lights: $400 (8 tubes)
Betson sells a complete pad for $2500 unshipped. _________________

dual box pro from them also and the first time playing I great attacked a
song I thought it was funny so I kept going and almost greated the whole
song. So I used the auto adjust step to the beat feature and its on beat but
the timing is set at like +45ms? Seems weird to me. My softpad i never had
to adjust anything (it was xbox soldered to usb) granted it didnt have 2
control boxes to go through. What are you guys settings? |
if you have itg2pc, go into the options setting, and go to "calibrate audio sync" when you go in there, there will be the 4 stationary arrows, and L+R arrows will start to come up. step on them towards the beat of the song, even if you are getting greats/whatever. do this about twice then hit enter. voila, all of your itg1/2 stepfiles are now onsync! (for the most part) |
Yea I ended up playing on it and it does work thanks umm.. . penor dude (: |
I have the EMS USB to PSX, I play on Stepmania with the ITG2 theme, so I have all DDR/itg/ other songs that I play |

Are there any adapters for the blue shark that don't require calibration and are lag-free with it out of the box? Or is there a control box you can get for it with a USB port? |

Has anyone had any bad experience with ordering a blueshark at www.mymybox.com ? such as ordering and paying for the item and not receiving the item at all? or maybe receiving the item but not what its suppose to be?
Im about to make an from their website but want to be sure everything is positive. its alotta money for 2 sharks alone.....+ the shipping is heaps.
p.s has any blueshark owner tried using their super dual usb to ps2 thing that they have on their website?? its $15usd for it. They recommended me that if i was using it for stepmania. does it lag?? work? |

There was a guy back in April who got a total PoS BlueShark. Otherwise, none of them have had any truly unbearable problems that I can recall. _________________

I believe it means "Piece of shit". He's probably referring to the one that was bent. There were pictures, but they're gone now. _________________

I believe it was bent, the panels didn't line up at all, the up and left arrows didn't work at all, the right arrow barely worked, the control box took 3 weeks to get there after the pad, stuff like that. I think the bar was bent up too. _________________

Haha luckily mine came here fine. they might pack it differently now cuz I watched the fed ex guy beat the poopy out of it off of his truck just to my doorstep. I bet you money fedex got that pad bent up, they even dropped off the control box one day and forgot the pad was on the truck so I had to wait the whole weekend till monday to get it f-fedex

Yes. My blueshark was dent and bent on the side. I sent the pictures to mymybox to show how badly my blueshark was damaged. One of mymybox customer support told me that they would replace the pad. Mymybox told me that it was due to box package. I sent it back and received the new dance pad with new package. New package was a lot bigger and strong than previous package. Mymybox told me that they made new package for blueshrak to prevent damage on the blueshark metal pad. Yes. It is very big. Before, It was around 39 inch X 36 inch and 5 inch. They improved the box a lot. It is very strong and there was no sign of damage on m blueshark.
If you order a blueshark metal pad, make sure to contact mymybox and ask them whether they will ship the blueshark metal pad with new package or old package. Old package, mymybox will send you a control box separately. New package, mymybox will send you both metal pad and control box together.
Yes, It is much better than Cobaltflux because it is.
I definitely recommend it. |

I FINALLY received my BlueShark.
I received a bad pad back last Christmas, and they finally recently shipped me a new brand pad to replace it. It works perfectly! Despite only asking for the pad back, they also sent a new c-box, bar, and screw kit. The new packing is much better, too.
I'm very happy with MyMyBox now . |

I've had my BlueShark for about two weeks, and I'm still loving it. The only two things I don't like about it is that the bar is pretty wobbly, and that the breakaway cables come unplugged from the control box easily. Other than that, it's my favorite pad I've ever had, ever. |
