Wanna know why people think the BlueShark is better than the Cobalt Flux? BECAUSE IT IS. I've played on a Cobalt Flux before, and while it is a good pad, the BlueShark is infinitely better.

Anyway, this is the only good picture that I took of my BlueShark.

I was thikning of ordering it (if it were the same price as the flux, it'd be a no brainer) but I have two questions:
How wobbly is the bar?
Are the arrows as recessed as the Afterburner?

The bar is kind of wobbly, but it depends how tight the screws are. And yes, the arrows are recessed.

Wait a minute, someone actually agrees with something I said?! Wow, that's a first.

Anyway, after playing on a BlueShark, I can't see why anyone would want a Cobalt Flux.

I was wondering how people here paid for their MMB Blueshark mat? Paypal credit card?

I am from Sydney Australia. ive been in contact with MMB for the past 3-4 days and they have been responding to my emails everyday. Ive asked if they could specially ship to sydney Australia and they said that they could but a shipping charge of roughly $500usd + the mat ='s $900 USD per mat shipped. Planning to get 2 of em. So $1800ish all up shipped.

The only thing is, they do not accept Paypal for international orders due to past fraduelent activities. They only accept Western Union. Ive had bad experience with Western union in the past so i dont want history to repeat.

Is it trustworthy to pay $1800 USD via western union to MMB instead of paypal?

Honestly, I don't know. Sometimes, you'll get a bad BlueShark, which is not often (luckily, i got a good one). I would say even though it's a lot of money, you should still get it, because BlueSharks are the best (or one of the best) pads on the market. I forgot how my dad paid for it E10.gif.

No doubt the quality of a blueshark should be tops. Im not doubting that fact at all. What i am concerned about is, whether they will ship the product or not after they receive the payment.

Basically, i dont want it to be a fraudulent action. Since they dont accept paypal and only western union, i want to be more careful going about it. Ive placed an order for cobalt earlier this week. But that will take at least another 4 weeks till they ship my CF. So im considering the Blueshark.

Whoah 500$ for shipping? That's more than the pad itself, I'm sure it's a great pad but for that kind of money you should just build your own.

Yeap

$500 is too much. Buy thier DIY kits and build yourself. http://www.mymybox.com/mbsacc17.html

It should be inexpensive way to own your own blueshark metal pad.

I'd say get a middleman. If you have any family or close friends in North America, have them order then ship to you. It might cost a bit more, but what's $50-$100 when you're already paying nearly $2000? One major advantage to doing that is that you can have your middleman test them before they ship overseas. 'cause you do not want to get a couple of DOA pads from a different continent.

Whatever you do, good luck.

To videoCWK, I posted this a few posts back, but here it goes.

The Blueshark is the best pad, better than CF IMO, it is like the arcade, it will help you improve, obviously,
so If you live in Southern California

First, call to make an appointment, 213-291-8789

Second, the address
Mymybox
27825 Ave Hopkins #4
Valencia CA, 91355

Third, they will say to go around 1 pm, now if you live pretty far, Six Flags is only 2 minutes away, zomg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what I did is went to six flags, then went to buy the pad, ate outside,(save money), then go back to six flags. That was my plan but if you go they will make you test out the CF first. If you are willing to buy the pad up front, then tell them to open a new one, and if it works, you will buy it.

That is what I did, hopefully someone will do this cause it is worth it.

oh snaps, I was the first one to go in front to buy the pad, and I gave super cool steps to get it, and the boss told me to spread the word, blueshark is the best, bump my infamous post lol

Hm.. Hard choice. I dont mind paying for the shark....its just the risk i have to go through, is it gonna be worth it? when on the other hand i can just be safe and stick with the cobaltflux. Paying westernunion money transfer just doesnt seem right for me even though some of you guys have been to their shop.

Unfortunately, i dont know anyone in the U.S, Wish i did.

MMB quoted me $499 for shipping per mat via fedex. Im not quite sure if thats even the exact price.. If its anymore that ill stick with the flux. Its $1100 USD shipped for the double pack.

the $499 quote is a quick quote from what i can see at the fedex website.
Have a feeling that it could be more... frown.gif

Where are the stores you can go to to pick one up, so you don't have to have it shipped?

Damn. I live in Kentucky, so it kinda rules that out. Are the arrows more recessed than arcade machine, or are they about the same?

I got mine and i love it. So godly. does anyone use ITG2PC? I got a super

dual box pro from them also and the first time playing I great attacked a

song I thought it was funny so I kept going and almost greated the whole

song. So I used the auto adjust step to the beat feature and its on beat but

the timing is set at like +45ms? Seems weird to me. My softpad i never had

to adjust anything (it was xbox soldered to usb) granted it didnt have 2

control boxes to go through. What are you guys settings?

if you have itg2pc, go into the options setting, and go to "calibrate audio sync" when you go in there, there will be the 4 stationary arrows, and L+R arrows will start to come up. step on them towards the beat of the song, even if you are getting greats/whatever. do this about twice then hit enter. voila, all of your itg1/2 stepfiles are now onsync! (for the most part)
