Just because its offensive doesn't mean you can't comment on it =P
And okay... i assumed something dumb, ya got me XD
Quick question though... how old are ya boots? just wondering
Actually re-reading Boots long post I read it wrong XD
I still don't see how you can think a female is inferior like that. Its just not how it is =/. Unless its different where you live, in which case I feel SO bad for you lol.
EDIT: Thanks for giving me something to do at work lol. I'll comment later if anything else is said... |

Well, he said he wasn't trying to sound like a dick, despite apparently realizing that it WOULD make him sound like a dick, so there didn't seem to be any reason to go there... until that follow-up. _________________

Why, because I didn't comment on how ridiculous and offensive it sounded? Or do you somehow think we were saying the same thing? For the record, I was NOT claiming that the reason had anything to do with the assertion that girls are fat, insecure, sweat-averse, lazy, or completely lacking in motivation or passion. |
No, because everything you had stated was addressed in my post. I also said that it doesn't hold true for all girls, and I most certainly didn't use all 5 of those adjectives combined at once.
I said what I said the way I said it because I hate catering to people who are easily offended and get their panties in a twist because they're not hearing a sugar coated version of the truth. Physically, women are inferior. Period. There's no logical refutation of that.
Do I disrespect them for that? Absolutely not.
What I can't respect is people blindly believing these things that feminists spewed out to them.
Trust me, I have a female friend (28 years old) who says things that if I said it, it would make me sound misogynistic, like about how women have a place in society and that career women tear families with children apart, and yeah, about how there are just some things men are more physically capable of than women.
My girlfriend, in fact, would probably agree with a lot of the things said here (not necessarily the way I presented it). The thing that those two have in common is that they're not offended by people suggesting that *gasp* they might be different.
And also for the record, I'm 21. _________________

yeah im a girl and i think that women are, in fact, physically inferior to men. thats just how this world is, men have more testorone and whatnot which develops into muscle therefore strenthening them. but that doesnt mean that men are better than women. NOT AT ALL! _________________

i agree and disagree with many points that are thrown into the discussion... but the fact of the matter is that majority of the female ddr players are just casual gamers... they play to have fun and not to compete... it's simple as that... _________________

DDR is an event with a maximum achievement standard (that is, the AAA). Therefore, males and females are most definitely on even ground for skill in the game. In fact, based upon the concentration needed to get "Perfect" on every step, I'd be tempted to say that if there was a battle of the sexes where both really tried, I would actually give the edge to females, since they usually have much better focus.
And believe it or not, I'm a male. |

I think people don't notice their accomplishments so much because they don't brag about them like dumb faggots.(forgive me for my lack of a better term.) |

You gave a list of things that are all considered character flaws. Me saying that girls tend to be less likely to see a reason to spend hundreds of hours mastering a VIDEOGAME can hardly be considered a character flaw; it's a far easier argument to say that those who DO prioritize their life that way are the ones with the problem.

She knows it, and also I said there's always exceptions. I also said its been MY experience that a lot of girls are that way, it may not necessarily be the same for everyone else.
Perception is subjective, hence why you and I probably don't see this issue the same way.
Also just a side question, how many girls have 10 foot AAA's under their belt vs the hundreds of guys that do? _________________

I think a few years ago I was reading in the Smithsonian magazine, some naturalist had developed a theory for stupid animal behavior, like brightly colored birds that sing loudly out in the open, or gazelles that jump straight up in the air directly in front of lions. I want to say "exclude principle" or something like that, but I don't think that's the word.
He theorized this behavior was evolutionary, in that if an animal was able to get away with stupid behavior and still live somehow, it was more suitable for survival. This would explain why guys do stupid stuff, even when it's not to impress females. And as for why it's usally guys being stupid, obviously males are the more disposible gender.

Hate to nitpick, but it sounds like you just wrapped one grammatical error around another. _________________

Also, the frontal lobe of the brain, which is the center of judgement and decision making, isn't finished fully developing until you're about 20-22 years old. This applies for both males and females.
That's why kids and teenagers do stupid things and when asked why, they'll say "I dunno". That other theory sounds pretty good though. _________________

Don't forget JoTranny.
As for 10-foot AAA's, I'm sure anyone has the possibility of doing it, just a question of if they would want to. |

I'm totally fine with that, because it's true for most females. I've seen a lot of girls who think they don't need to put effort into anything because they can get anything they want by batting their eyelashes and looking cute. I would, however, be offended if you slapped that label on me. Though I'm sometimes guilty of using my gender to my advantage, I'm still extremely motivated and willing to put in as much effort as necessary to achieve my goals. |

Hahahahaha... having a female tell you "I'm extremely motivated and willing to put in as much effort as necessary to achieve my goals." proves your point that females are lazy and unmotivated?? Nice try! _________________

You really aren't reading are you? You can't honestly sit here and tell me that without having read the rest of her post which, in case you missed it, was

What part of the word "MOST" and the phrase THERE ARE ALWAYS EXCEPTIONS do you not understand?
At no point did I say ALL girls are lazy and unmotivated.
lern2discussion and stop putting words in my mouth, and stop picking apart posts without reading the whole thing.
