Also, I just saw the movie "Music and Lyrics".

In the beginning, Drew Barrymore is babysitting some kids and busting out some DDR. Couldnt tell what mix/song, but it was a pretty weak performance.

Now, towards the end, Hugh Grant busts out some slick freestylin' on the pad. Took them kids back to da old skool and taught em a thing or 2.

I suppose if you look at it differently they were just doing a freestyle on light mode.

An odd one, but still.

It also makes the game look a bit better to newbies than seeing people bar-hugging and doing FAXX.

I SAW DDR on 8 Simple Rules last night. xDD;
"Oh! Let's go play the dancing game! You always kick my butt at the dancing game!" "Yeah, that's true..."
Then they proceed to put in a coin and, without selecting a song, hop up and down without looking at the screen for a total of about 8 seconds before they abandon it.
